My point is, he got killed because a) everyone is fucking armed so what are the chances of a gun being a toy gun (in US) b) what would happen if this was all in Ireland? The officers would probably not be as paranoid that the kid is packing heat (what are the odds of a kid having a real gun in Ireland?) the officer would also likely tell the kid to drop the weapon and get on the ground. but what can the US cop do? Its too late for that you fool, what you should be doing instead is buying guns like its going out of style. Texas does it right, they carry their guns just in the open. Best form of defence is offence and that form of defence is best served with a machinegun. If anyone looks at you the wrong way, there is no time to think - they want to shoot you, so you better shoot first. Actually US can still fix this. Guns are legal BUT owning more than a certain amount of ammunition is illegal. Everyone is happy except the people who want to kill off an entire town.

In USA, every motherfucker and their pet gold fish are armed so the system pretty much works on "shoot first ask questions later."

For additional crowd control purposes, trash cans are armoured, mobile with legs and carry shotguns for when violent people duck under the sniper cameras.
Every household should have a tactical warhead - never know when you'll need one. God forbid someone trespasses in your backyard. What if they have a crowbar or something? There's no time to think, nuke their ass to mars before they kill your family.
