They showed the new Doom game for which I have been waiting for 10 years.
Best E3 since Halo 2.
Edit: One thing was disappointing though. I expected SOME company (except Nintendo) to announce mouse + keyboard support on their console. Especially MS and their unification of PC and X1 - why not unify the controls too? Hoping this will happen in the coming months.

I think that any X360 / original Xbox title that is available on the digital X360 marketplace should be compatible on the X1.
The titles that are in the X360 marketplace are only there because they sold over a certain amount of copies and have registered a certain number of plays - therefore proving that people play them.

What's the point of of the presenters standing on-stage with a controller? Nobody believes they're actually playing it.
I thought they often are? I remember presentations where the controller died, the game froze and stuff like that, which did make it look like they were actually playing.
Did you not watch SWBF, Halo 5 or DOOM? Clearly scripted
Doom was a recorded gameplay trailer. There was no-one on stage playing it.
