My god, talk about a bump! I'll always remember this place. It got me through some tough times in uni. Sep7agon, Vinesauce and Inside Gaming (later) Funhaus kept me going back then.
What did go to uni for?
Comp Sci for 4 years.

After what they did with the GTA trilogy release, my excitement for GTA 6 is minimal.
The “””Definitive Edition””” was made in crunch time by people that made mobile game garbage with hardly any experience working on AAA games
I doubt Rockstar is going to half-ass GTA 6 and let rookies work on it
Yeah, but that is still a problem for a company with basically infinite money to: 1) outsource a project to the lowest bidder 2) Look at the 'finished' product and ship it anyway in the state that it was in 3) Publicly state that they did not know of the issues 4) Not dispatch an in-house team to fix it ASAP (it still not fixed from what I gather) If it was EA or Ubi, I wouldn't be surprised. But for a company who always cared about details to do this to their own games... Very disappointing.

Man, those stalker games are great. Played through the first two, now on the last one before the new one comes out in December.

Not to be a simp for it, but Among Us is cross play and has iOS / mobile support. I was able to play with PC people on my iPad.
You're absolutely right. I changed the OP now.

I updated the possible list of games and the proposed time. Let me know which games you are up for and what time.
I am definitely down for Destiny, MCC, Infinite, Warzone.

So how are you finding it? Where are you at the moment?
Just finished ME2. It's p fun, but the lack of hardcore sex scenes holds it back.
The gunplay does get a bit repetitive but the general space adventuring is fun. I apparently missed the third important Conrad Verner interaction in ME1 so he wasn't present in ME2 and won't be in ME3 or some shit which is too bad. For ME2 I pretty much have finished everything now before going on the suicide mission.
Good stuff. Be sure to bring the man who can climb anything with you on the mission.

Playing Halo would actually be quite fitting. Destiny is fine too.
Amogus? I never played, is it easy to get into and start playing?

1) Work-from-home mandate. So people can buy places in remote towns. 2) Rapid construction of massive apartment blocks, so people have a place to live in now and drop the rent price down. Now that everyone has a place to live and the rent is fair, ramp-up construction of houses. People who want to buy can start saving and people who do not, simply rent. Reduces the competition between prospective buyers and eliminates those who want to rent for life from the property-buying market.

I lost all respect for Bungie when they fired Marty for doing his job. How dare a composer make music for our product?!
Recently watched a presentation of their current CEO (I think its a video from like 2015) and he said "Speed is more important than quality"
Now Baldur's Gate 3 was being criticized by some AAA devs because how dare they launch a finished game in 2023! Over-delivering! This industry was going down the shitter for a while, I think we reached the stinkiest shits at this point.

Just like Prey, Quake 2 and Metal Gear survive - you create a totally new game, but give it the name of an already existing game. You are setting the wrong expectations because people instantly start comparing this with the older game(s) and expect certain things to be present in this new one. Why TF could they not call it something else? Is registering a new IP/TM really that expensive ? Could they not come up with a new title?

Fallout 2 complete.
Oooh boy. I should have played it towards the end of my backlog. Its best taken slow in order to get a chance to explore the world and complete the many-many quests. At least now I know more about the Enclave and their backstory.
Next up: Prey (the Arkane one)

Still driving my 08 ford focus mk2. My father (who lives in iceland, where electricity is dirt cheap) had a hybrid (which he barely topped up with fuel, 90% of the time drove it in E mode) and now bought a 100% EV. He definitely prefers evs.
I want one just so I don't have to worry about oil changes, timing belt changes, fan belts, spark plugs, exhaust hinges and any other parts that come with having a combustion engine.
Money is the issue at the moment. cars are expensive and doubly-so for EVs. The affordable ones (Nissan leaf) are pig ugly. I'll wait for the second-hand market to get more stock.

2022 was so mixed for me. I am always excited about the celebration of a year's end and greeting the new one, but this year I felt kind of empty / exhausted. I hope 2023 will have a lot more positive things but more importantly a lot less negative things.
Got promoted at work. Got married. So far so good, right? Five days later, cunt putler starts a war and a month later my closest friend with whom I grew up and who was basically my brother, took his own life. That phone conversation with his mother was so painful. He appears in my dreams almost daily. Overall, fuck 2022.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I can't imagine the pain you've been going through since that day. I hope 2023 will be much better to you!
Thank you. I hope 2023 will be better for all of us.
