I got my only perfection thanks to Christmas noobs in Reach
I see. Although of course this was only doubles, so he was the only noob I had to worry about and carry. Thank God this wasn't the exact same situation on a 4v4.
In this game, my "noob" committed suicide 3 times in a row. I honestly can't tell if he was trolling, or actually new to competitive MP.

OT: played some firefight this weekend - pretty good when the team uses powerful REQs', not that fun when everyone sticks to AR + BR.

I'm probably the noob if anything because I stick with BR + H2 BR.
We just can't push past the second round because the bosses are just sponges and BR / AR won't do enough damage.

Instead of saying shit like "It will be okay" or "I'm here for you" I always jump straight into the mindset of "Okay, how do I help this person?"

She is not racist - that is a common misconception by everyone who failed to see the greater picture. Turians went to war with humans not long ago, the council acts in their own interest (and their species interest) - Saren is a Turian who despises humanity - before you discover the reapers, Saren's motives look political. It makes sense to not trust aliens at this point. So what the casuals caught as wind of racism are actually very understandable and legitimate points. We are on a top secret ship on a top secret mission and now we are sharing it with people who's motives we don't fully understand. As for the comparison of dog-walkers etc -> the council is the dog walker and humanity is the dog. She is afraid that the council will just not give a single fuck about humanity if shit goes down. As it turns out - she was right all along. She has very solid values and isn't afraid of confronting those who step out of those set boundaries, like Shepard in the 2nd game. Sadly, the PC millennials failed to understand Ash and wrote her off as an asshole.
