Gaming / Re: Memepunk 2077 pushed back to November« on: December 12, 2020, 03:13:28 PM »I know, I know. I'm just saying what must be done. Consistent low release sales will hurt these sweat-shop-tier studios and will probably send a message. People keep buying on release says one thing - "we trust you." The trust is long gone however.Yeah okay cool, but that's not even remotely my point. There's a difference between purchasing a game at its cheapest and most optimized and having an unplayable mess on the first day you purchase it. I don't understand why this is such a head scratcher to some folk.Buying games six months to a year post release is not only economically beneficent but also gives you a better experience. Why is the bar so low now that the default position is to just expect AAA games to be fixed incrementally post release? Why is it so outlandish to actually want a game to work properly on day 1? Trust me this isn't fine. I'm sick of people just brushing this off because it's CDPR. If this was an EA title reddit would be in resonance frequency. So game crashed twice on me, also had a glitch where I could not advance the story because of some militech NPC blocking an access point. Enemies will sometimes spaz out on the floor without even bothering to shoot you. This is f i n e, no matter how much would they spend time coding game, they'll never catch all bugs. It's more important now for them to listen to the feedback and patch all things quickly. I think it would be better for them to release their game earlier as an early access and receive feedback back then and I don't know what prevented them from doing so. You probably didn't read my previous posts. I was advocating for longer dev cycles for a while now. Normalized crunches is not a sign of a healthy industry. No one is saying the game should be seen as some system-critical product (Like autopilots or rocket software) but ffs, there should not be any bugs when all the player does is just play the game as intended. Of course software can break when millions of people are all trying to break it but there is footage of mission scripts derping out and other sections of the game that should work - fall apart. 311

Gaming / Re: Memepunk 2077 pushed back to November« on: December 11, 2020, 05:20:32 PM »Also: crunchReason I decided not to get this at launch. Another is that its a AAA game which means a playable Beta at launch. Anyone here played it yet? I hear good things about the graphics and such but bugs ruin the immersion. 314

Sad Girl > Angry Boi
According to game awards. Interactive dramas should have their own show tbh. 315
