Something I'd also like to mention: DO NOT FIGHT THE TRIP. You're not going to be in the realm of normal mundane perception and conception under the influence for at least 5 hours and I've known some to be fairly frightened by this because they always want to remain in control of their mentality and are afraid they might do something harmful or stupid.
Don't worry about it, a normal (3.5 grams) dose for hallucinations isn't going to cause you to flip your shit. You'll be pretty fucked up and it will be noticeable by everyone around you but you need to be comfortable with that. Use it as an excuse to act a little more eccentric than you normally do. Embrace the trip and go with the flow.
DO NOT try to remain 'clear headed and in control' That's not the point of the trip. If you wanted to be that way then you wouldn't have tried to trip in the first place.
I definitely need to work on this, sometimes I can be exactly how you described after a ton of smoking or an edible. I've gotten better though, thanks to both of you for the advice!

I know that feel, it's extremely difficult to find someone who grows and sells them where I am so it's a very rare occasion for me.
...but I still consider the night I tripped on shrooms with my 4 friends one of the best experiences of my life. We still talk about that night.
Yup I feel you. A lot of the drug dealers in my area are pretty shady, even for drug dealers haha. Is there anything special you would recommend doing in preparation? Stuff like where to do it, things to bring, any precautions, what to eat(if anything) the time leading up to it? I've been doing research but it's always great hearing it from someone who did it
