I modded skyrim to where it has appealing visuals and mechanics that are not shit. If the game's engine managed to actually handle a good deal of mods, I would have enjoyed it more.
For myself I did the something but I can't get into it. Even with mods playing the game is still shitty due to how boring the combat system is and the lack of things in it.
