Real talk the Covenant was the worst sangheili clan alliance to happen to the community as a whole.
Daca spent a good amount of time talking about it as well. A friend of mine talked about a piece of shit clan leader, so I pmed him porn.
It was a joint leadership but it was also a constant power grab between them since there were multiple clans involved. The Sovereign Guard always tried to be on top and it was basically just a constant shitfest.
I swayed away from Sangheili clans for that reason. The roleplaying was really awkward through the mic as well, after being pulled into a few game nights here and there.
