If what I said is possible, then you'd have the option of leaving again and finding a more reasonable job, or career option, with decent money so that you could help the repayment process along without ruining yourself.

We can't hire anybody because we can't even pay minimum wage. And, nobody in my town stays. Young kids either fuck off to the city because there's not much here, or they inherit their family business like farming and so on. I am a rare person in this town it seems.

Finding a job around here like that is pretty damn tough. You're either a bigshot who gets payed truckloads, or you're a grunt who goes until you break.

Come on, man, there has to be a middle ground of work, that is hard work, sure, but not harmful to you in a major way, and pays more than you're getting now. Anything must be an improvement over what you currently make, so you wouldn't have to go to an oil rig to improve the situation a little. Fix things up.

Originally, my plan hinged on buying land. If I could get a piece of land, and pay it off for myself, which would be easier and faster to do than the debts, then we'd have a piece of security. As I said, I think the only other thing I can do is send out lines with the contractors. They're the only other source of work I could get in the area. They don't pay a lot either, and it's dependant on how well the summer goes for them.

But as of late the debts have jumped up faster than we can keep them down. I've got to find something I can do in the meantime to pay all this shit off before everything else starts falling apart.

Perhaps I can answer this question in 10 years. I think that I need a grasp of terms and mental states and concepts. All of those things.

I'm just gonna lay out my third option with the limited info I've gotten from you.

Stay there and help with the restaurant until you're done with the education, and then get a job, move to wherever because you now have the money, and take your family with you. As your mother dies, the debt dies.

This means that you abandon your life, but here's my idea. Like it or not, it's a third option, but finding a job that has a good pay is all very difficult, I imagine. This is in theory however, the most logical one for me.

Except for the part that finding a job that's paying is something that you can do quickly with the education that you have.

What you just said, I'll have your head. No, but anyway. My comprehension of the text fades at around 1400 wpm on the site, but even then, I can understand about 80%, or more.

I can "read" fast and not comprehend anything at around 1600 or higher, but tbh I haven't even tried that much as at around 1500 I could understand little of what was being said.

Edit: Oh shit, I forgot to say that reading faster will help you remember the information better than reading really slowly.

Example: When you're reading and then you realize that you have only read, but not understood what was going on, so you went back to read. With speed reading, your mind absorbs the words, and new ones are there to replace them quickly, and thus your brain let's you take in more info.

but sers tho, speed reading is skill not many have considered, or even heard about, but it's basically a means of reading faster, or accessing more information faster. The world record goes to a guy who read 80 pages in 1 minute.

Now imagine when you're reading that book. Imagine how much time you spent, and how little you progressed.

I forgot to mention that I will be training in speed reading using books. I don't see the point in reading a measly 6 words at a time, when I could be reading a page at a time, but that's for another age.
