I've heard good things about it but never watched it. Is it worth watching knowing that the ending is going to be shit?
The chase is what captures it for me. It intrigues me how the chase can seem so smart, and depthful, while still being down-to-Earth for everyone to understand. When I think about it, it's simply brilliant that the ending has a very low impact on how much you can enjoy viewing the anime.

Ah yes, a proper gentleman indeed. Isara chooses to share a subject so that it can be discussed for the pleasure, and growth of the other man. A true Gentleman. Spoiler Not that I ever enjoyed the Gentleman thing, but I'm growing tired of it.

Made a character once.
Never played it, and I lost my character.
I think his name was Zei Von Lingonbarrn

Now I know some of the examples in the videos are quite extreme, but most of them aren't that unthinkable. I readily litter, smoke and get into shouting matches with some people. While this is no doubt, probably in large part too, down to my psychology and my bad genes--especially the last one--it's also all behaviour that my mother has displayed while I've been growing up.
I wonder why people just aren't intuitively good parents. Is it because we evolved the capacity for nurturing our babies, which was enough while roaming the Serengeti, but we haven't adapted properly to ideas of social responsibility and living in close proximity with thousands of other humans beings?
Knowledge isn't passed down /thread Honestly, what else do you want? That is objectively the only reason why you have had shitty parents. They had no idea what they were doing with you, or just didn't give a single fuck about you.

Want to prove that wrong verbatim? Cause you've got about 15 minutes while I kill this boss. Did you NOT just fucking say that your one condition for locking a thread is if it turns into a shitstorm? WELL, IT'S A FUCKING SHITSTORM IN HERE. YOU WANNA DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT?
Calm down Verbatim.
Shit, even I couldn't resist a laugh. Verbatim, try explaining your point, and calm the fuck down. LOL Edit: I'm not being serious btw

Alright, I've been thinking things over while I've been playing, which whilst it has led to a few unpleasant deaths I believe it's at least worth chewing over.
Verbatim, can you just explain your point about the thread one more time. Politely if you can, and I'll read it when I get back properly/asap. At this point, I can't be fucked. You wanted a shitstorm, you got your shitstorm. If I were you, I would lock the thread.
Told ya, no point at all.
Unfortunately it would seem that way.

Then stop sucking, and take advantage over the fact that I've corrected you. Learn from it.
Idgaf, it's an Internet forum lol.
I appreciate the correction
You shouldn't gaf about criticism. You mention your appreciation, which means that you do gaf about learning, and that makes me happy.
dgaf about criticism, but do gaf about learning, which you do, so you're A+ in my book of people trying to learn.
We don't know each other, so this is a good start.
That was actually my first me up with too's and to's in a while
Your's and You're's are getting there. But they are a bit iffy
It's very simple: too - excessive (too much)- too much ice cream, too little love, me too to - targeting something - "today", "tomorrow", me to Valhalla! To whom? To Mr. Light pls
I'm good with to's and too's, I just slipped up.
Your and You're is my really issue
That's your problem that you're facing, and its all you, man.

See, there's a small problem with that. You are only as attractive as others perceive you, your own opinion of yourself means nothing. it's actually the other way around, but all right
because why should i care if a bunch of loser MALES on an internet forum find me unattractive
i'm not interested in guys, sorry
You're not getting the point. Allow me to type it again for you. "You are only as attractive as others perceive you"
You could be the ugliest motherfucker in the world and say "I'm attractive" - and that wouldn't change a thing about your looks.
Landwhales attractive? "FUCK YES, MY KINK" "eww no" come on mang, it's all subjective, and which subjectiveness matters the most if not for one self's?

MFW a thread gets derailed
its not derailed, he's trying to win by personality.
how is he going to win like that when half the site doesn't like his personality.
lol "why do you dislike me" this is why
Verbatim is the worst marketer I've ever seen. He wants people to jump on board with him to change the site but at the same time calls them idiots. Yeah, that's not how you throw a pitch.
and morons like you (presumably) discard everything about his arguments because of this; which is not in my nature; and is actually something that I've never seen before going onto the internet, which makes it so annoying that people are this unreasonable.
But hey, that's just my take on it all.
I agree with both Psy and Verb on this. Both of their points are correct IMO
Already jumping to call me a moron for a correct observation on how Verbatim tries to "pitch" his arguments?
Also, if you'd pay attention to the reason people don't give credit to him anymore is because he derails multiple threads and can be a total buzzkill in some of them. Nobody likes that so it's, in his words, "not unreasonable to be bitter" about Verbatim.
No, I'm calling you a moron because you fail to process information that's not interesting to you. You refuse it, and make fun of how it's so unattractive to you.
For the latter part: Read my previous comment in where I called you a moron.
Now you are making false claims. Never did I overlook any of what he said because I found it "uninteresting", at all. I can't disagree because I believe the ideas are bad? I never "refused" anything, you're just making assumptions and an ass of yourself.
Pitch, pl- sorry, I meant Bitch, please! You must have influenced me from the many times you said pitch.
>I said pitch twice >"Many times"
Actually, you'd only said it once at the time I called you a moron. It was also your first comment, and the first interaction with you that I had.
And? How is that relevant to your comment of "You must have influenced me from the many times you said pitch", in which I had said it twice before that? If you wanted it to be about my first post your comment should look something like this:
"You must have influenced me from the one time you said pitch"
Grasping at straws, I see.
Oh boy, here we go.
It's relevant, because I attacked "Verbatim is the worst marketer I've ever seen. He wants people to jump on board with him to change the site but at the same time calls them idiots. Yeah, that's not how you throw a pitch." and you're telling me that you don't care about the marketing. That's clearly not the case, or you wouldn't be posting all of that.
Time to look at it in retrospect:
"I don't care about the marketing of Verbatim's replies." You said pitch so many times that bla bla bla (meaning that you've been talking about it so much) "I only said pitch twice" (thinking that I care about the word itself) No, you said it once (which shifts attention to the original argument) __________________________________ If you look at our first interaction, you can see that my accusation should be correct. If it's not, then you spew a lot of shit about irrelevant things, and that's misleading, as it's completely irrelevant to anything other than the label "Verbatim".
Wanna be right and be seen as a fool, or admit, and we can drop this?
How I feel about marketing is irrelevant to my observation on how he gets out his ideas. I stated an observation, nothing more. You, once again and as you have been doing, are trying to twist it around to make it into something it's not.
Please, give me an actual quote where I stated "I don't care about the marketing of Verbatim's replies". I never said this and now you certainly are putting words in my mouth. How can I argue with someone who is constantly twisting the angles and constantly putting statements out that the opposition NEVER said? Next you'll come up with some excuse and attempt to skew it in your favor.
Yes, I said pitch twice, and you deciding to use the word shows that you DO care about the individual use of that word. Otherwise you wouldn't have worded the sentence the way you did, and you would have make another comment entirely. The entire punch at the end of the sentence revolved around the word "pitch" and is nothing more than bullshit to claim otherwise.
So once again I have debunked your clunky argument (if it can even be called that). Your "accusations" are empty. If you can't follow the clear, concise points of my argument then you need reading comprehension. And just because you can't follow along doesn't mean I'm wrong, you just can't keep the ideas coherent.
There is nothing foolish about being right, which I just proved I am.
I'm sorry, but it's just that I'm speechless on what to say to you in a way that it matters. There's so many things I want to say, but I guess that I'll just say this: You've got it all wrong on all of the points, essentially, and basically. Edit: over-stimulation broke me

The problem is that flaming of the sort Psy describes isn't at all conducive to whatever discussion is going on at that time, and potentially harmful--especially if the topic is serious. It's not really about whether people get mad. oh god
i can't do it
You have to understand that what you just said was very circular. You say flaming is bad if isn't conducive to the discussion--making threads like this okay, because flaming users is the entire point. Okay, but that misses MY central point, which is... threads like this should be against the rules. There should be no "who is the ugliest user," "who is the stupidest user." I'd love to participate in such threads, but at the end of the day, it just creates drama, tension, and a bad atmosphere. The mods talk about new members being driven away by the negative atmosphere created by the userbase--but they do so little to curtail it.
Which is why Verbatim is right.

Verbatim is the worst marketer I've ever seen. He wants people to jump on board with him to change the site but at the same time calls them idiots. Yeah, that's not how you throw a pitch. because their reasons for not "jumping on board with me" are completely asinine, and based on fundamental differences between what we think a forum should be in general
seems reasonable to me that i'd get bitter over it
You don't understand marketing at all.
Oh, and the "change the site" part is unknown to me. I have no idea what you're talking about.
You clearly haven't been here long enough if you don't know what I'm referring to.
Edit -
OH BBY A TRIPLE
Doesn't he live in USA? That would mean that the time zones would make it difficult for me to- you know what? My brain is crying out right now, and I think that it's because of how full of shit you are. I can counter anything you throw at me. Child's play.
Yeah, I feel like I'm playing with a child, certainly. Great (lack of) counter, buddy.
Fine, then let's get to facts, asshat. I know that I'm right, but if my knowing isn't enough, then let's go for round two, which is obviously going to be different.
When did Verbatim pitch his ideas so badly?
You claim to be right but, as evidenced by this thread, there is nothing to substantiate that claim. It shows you like to try to twist the argument in your favor by throwing out false claims tagged up with assumptions, though. And then once those fail you start claiming you have all the facts. A typical routine of someone who has no substance.
To answer your question, he does it and has done it in multiple threads where he whines about this post or that post and goes on to talk about how the site would be MUCH BETTER if it was done from his iron-fisted idea of a forum, all the while insulting the very user base he's trying to convince to change the forums.
Fine then I won't assume.
Now, answer my question. When did Verbatim pitch his ideas so badly? Give me the time.
There is no time. He's always doing it, that was part of my point.
"You clearly haven't been here long enough if you don't know what I'm referring to." I countered that, but you said that it was bad. I wanted to go on facts like this: Verbatim started doing this shit at Monday last week. I've been posting nonstop since Sunday two weeks ago to now. That way it would've disproved of the bad counter theory, and shown you with facts that it was a good counter.

The difference here is -Making fun of someone's appearance -Flaming someone for disagreeing with you
If anyone actually gets butthurt over being called ugly online, they really reaaaaaally need to get over themselves. It's official. You're the stupidest mod. Congrats.
If anyone actually gets butthurt over being flamed for having a different opinion online, they really reaaaaaally need to get over themselves.
It's not really about whether people get mad.
Which is why I agree with both.
