I tried cooking once.

It cost me money, and the result? The sauce had too much sugar, making the whol- oh right, the rice was also really mooshy and undry, but it was among the best dish I've ever eaten... if one could ignore the incredible sweetness where it reached a point where your head started to hurt.

Chicken and rice with some red sauce.

It's highly narcissistical, and boring.

Wait, wouldn't St. Valentine be equivalent of this holiday in comparison of Santa to Christmas?
Or in modern times...
Chocolate? But that's stealing Easter (and we all know who the mascot for Easter is).

I'm not talking about St. V, but rather V's day and what it stands for.

Geez, am I really that unclear?

It can be analyzed in many ways and different conclusions will be arrived upon, but you obviously don't want to discuss it that much, and are more likely just talking to yourself while still wanting to influence surroundings.

I bet you'd hate to discuss the comparisons.
Not necessarily.
On consumerism and it's effect on interpersonal relationships I'd be alright talking about it, it's just that I didn't want to open up many wounds last night >.>
On a romantic basis and why I think personal affection is doomed we could have a more expansive conversation (because it wouldn't mostly be conjecture on my end).

I think you could easily identify with the statement,
"Language is a somewhat inefficient means of communication"
I thought that since you made the note about Santa and Christmas and reflecting the experience to Easter that you meant the figure representing the holiday. I usually have to get beyond the immediate meaning of your posts to try and understand you better. It's like reading Hemmingway, actually.

I am alien with that statement, so to speak.

I was trying to be specific as to say that the day has the same meaning of Santa on Christmas; for kids and not really anything that exists outside of kids' minds.
With Hemmingway he utilizes the Iceberg technique, where most of the content in a piece is implicit as opposed to explicitly stated.
I wasn't including his style of "athletic prose" in this comparison, though >.>
When most people don't really consider a perspective of reality not native to their own, I'd extend that to adults additionally.

You do realize that to view a different reality you'll have to change yours, right?
The implication from your post above is that I haven't.
Which isn't true. The early stages of my life reversed many notions a majority of the populace holds.

No implication other than ignorance, or just wanting to remind you

At the current age I'm already having too many doubts about what I've done.

"Oh no, I shouldn't have written that thing that Iw as thinking about when I was writing the sentence. I should have used the other thing which I came to conclude would be the better thing to use"
At bathroom

Then I realize that I did in fact use that word

I've been thinking more about directing them into emotional drive for thought expansion by chaining them together continuously.

Oh, I thought of that sentence in the sense that the site was to help with getting through those ideas.
Language is an inefficient means of communication in some ways.
It could be interpreted both ways.

Language is objective, whereas the mind is not.

Are you implying that we should find subjective ways of communicating? Sure, we'd be able to understand each other more, but at the same time we'd know too much, and there'd be those who we wouldn't be able to communicate with as standards don't collide.

Language is fine enough for me, but it is my mind that is not suitable for what you seek. If one can understand the different versions, and apply each and one of them to the character's profile one could guess which- actually, sometimes it comes to you at an instant once you've thought of one option.

I didn't consider another possibility.

I am content with language - that statement tells a lot about me if you can get into my way of thinking, which would be difficult as you'd have to experience a lot of what I have.

Edit: Great minds think alike, which means that great minds understand each other, but for the common folk the ideas are nonsensical.

It is not that great minds think alike, but that some minds think alike, whereas some don't.

If I could get addicted to learning with ideal motivation I'd never stop.
Why would it be a bad thing?

Oh. I'm trying to find out if it can exist, somewhat. But I've also got a lot of other things on my mind relating to stuff like this, and this site doesn't help me in getting around to them >.>

If such a thing were possible I'd probably abandon my health- and social life (if you can call it that).

Yeah, the site really sucks at that kind of stuff, which is annoying.

I didn't even know it was Valentine's day today until some hour ago or so, but either way it doesn't matter.

Valentine's day is the equivalence to Santa on Christmas.

Maybe part of the issue is inhabiting multiple personalities.

What does that statement imply?
Potential to have dull and interesting personalities respectively.
Interest is personally assigned, it hinges on perspective, so I might find one of my personas interesting from an internal view while no external parties notice them.

So basically letting some show more?

I can't make much sense of how the two replies are connected.

Did you mean part of the solution?

1977
Maybe.
Are you addicted to making posts?

and you're probably really dull to be around.
