Let's have a GTA where I'm a respectable citizen. I don't speed and I obey traffic signals, because boring right? You still aren't getting what I'm saying here. I'm talking about freedom in an open world. Do you know what being able to do whatever you want means? It means you aren't restricted from doing something suddenly in the game because "woah man this character would never do that". You aren't Han Solo who'd never kill a rebel, you are a blank slate. It's free roam, how that works isn't rocket science.

Playing a game similar to Elite: Dangerous and Rogue Squadron where you fly to planets to complete missions sounds cool. But even then I question the feasibility.
Again, that's why I'm saying "Imagine this". Purely a hypothetical idea, but people apparently can't grasp that that is the topic.
That rogue squadron idea is part of what I'm talking about, but add in ground exploration too. You've got all these planets and places you can fly to, then land on and explore. And you are free to do that, or just be stupid and go attack an imperial base alone, steal a ship, etc. I guess people don't like the idea of open world Star Wars games, who'd have thought?
If that's what you meant it isn't our fault that we thought it was a bad idea, you explained it atrociously...
Do you know what GTA is? Then you know what I'm talking about. It's really that simple.
