It's a counterpick stage. Benefits some characters while hindering others. That's what people find so broken about it. Ideally, no stage should hinder or benefit any character, and in FD's case, an argument could be made that it benefits some characters far more than what would be considered fair play.
Also, the only counterpick stage is Stadium.
Kind of impossible unless you change the way characters work. Some like platforms and some dont.

There's actually a few people who contend that Final Destination isn't a competitive stage, and that it should be banned. I think For Glory is a testament to this, and the fact that many characters (who are reliant on platforms) get chain-grabbed to death on it, and there's nothing they can really do.
Battlefield is overall the most balanced stage, and Melee's Battlefield had the best design ever.

Ever since I started maining her, my win rate on For Glory is, like, 10:1.
Jigglypuff's side special and fair make her really easy to approach other characters with. If you can convert a stock at KO % (Which is really hard) you can win pretty reliably with her, I don't know why she's bottom tier in this game.
