Finally picked the game up today. Motion controls are always on, which kinda sucks.
But when you learn how to properly use them they give you a significant advantage you didn't have before.
And if you hold the gamepad in place you can shoot with the arwing like you could before, you fly and aim at the same time. Thanks to the hidden routes, boss fights, etc, the game has replayability.
The flying landmaster....is amazing.And some of the missions were more exciting than others I've seen in the series before. It's not Star Fox 64, but has elements borrowed from it.
So it's a lot of highs and lows, but a solid first effort from Platinum Games.
Haven't messed with Star Fox Guard yet.
