It lets out a roar of defiance and takes a combat stance, sword raised*

*holsters Plasma Rifle, draws sword and parries an incoming slash*
*delivers a kick to the Minor's ribs and locks swords*
What happened to the crew?! Where is our ship?!

Yes, but not the most intelligent in combat. Cocky and arrogant. He lost to a defeated opponent, by not finishing Forge off. And many forget that Thel 'Vadam was the SUPREME COMMANDER of the Covenant Fleet. He was top dog, and had to fight to get there. So I honestly think Thel could beat Ripa in a fair fight. Not just because of the physical prowess he has, but he is WAY more intelligent.

I joined at the VERY start of 2012, and played nothing but Halo 3 probably for that first year.
Never had Xbox Live until then, so I was ready to see what I had missed out on for all those years.
I mainly stuck around the Halo 3 forum, posted once or twice in Reach's, and posted a little in the Flood. Wasn't super active though, then the update came :/

It's not exactly like Halo 2 for a reason. That stuff wasn't in Halo 2 because it was Halo 2, it's in H2A because it's not Halo 2.

Thel, because he's been in the major games, so most people only know him as the only arbiter.
I wish we had more details on all the other Arbiters. They are really interesting, we don't even know their names. Just a summary of their accomplishments. And we don't even know of all of them, I think.
In Halo 3's development, we were originally going to fight Arbiter Combat Forms in the Cortana level but Bungie scrapped the idea.
