Well, I aspire to be who Aslan represents.  But I see much of myself in Peter Pevensie, from "The chronicles of Narnia".  Peter is depicted as a warrior-king who sought to do the right thing at all times. He has an undying love for Aslan, and recognizes him as his leader, friend, and as a father figure. Aslan explained to Peter his responsibility as a born leader, and gave him the support of a father towards his son. Peter in turn respects all of Aslan's choices.

Considering I play piano and write my own music, I'd say pretty safely I actually like music.
yeah, if you don't listen to a lot of styles of music then your artistic endeavors have no value.
I enjoy making music myself. So yeah, music is great.

Oh, so classical pianist have no value? While they play the hardest piano pieces ever written to large, wealthy audiences in the best music halls in the world?
So, if writing music, playing music, listening to music, LOVING music isn't enough, then how do I truly "appreciate" music?
Literally the complexity of music has no bearing on how good it is. This is just an emotionally driven opinionated rant by you.
While you do kinda have a point about complexity and quality, a good amount of simple music is shit. There's a reason pop music is shit. 4 chords and the same song structure will only get you so much.
