It's not for ANYONE. There is NOTHING wrong with two adults consensually having sex. If I'm friends with a girl and have sex with her, what exactly is wrong with it in your mind? Honestly, I'm asking. I want to know what YOU think, not a book.
Put the Bible aside? I can do that. What is wrong with it? It depends really. Are you doing it because you want to fulfill your own selfish desires, or do you really love this person? Sex is something special, why do you think people flip out when they find out you had sex with someone else? That's why so many people don't freak out at the "wait until marriage" idea. Because guess what? There will be trust, you are married. They won't wonder "is my spouse sleeping around again?" because they pledged their life to you. And if you DO stay awake at night fearing that, well then you probably chose the wrong partner. My answer to the question of "is having sex wrong?" takes into account the relationship, and the possible results. The act itself isn't bad, otherwise it wouldn't exist. It's how we use it. Well to start, check out Jesus' quote one more time. Now, on to defining Sexual Immorality. It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; (TNIV, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5) Sexual immorality is, in short, using sex for immoral / unholy acts. It refers to "passionate lust". Well Jesus says right here that even thinking of committing a lustful act, is a sin. But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. - Matthew 5:28 And Jesus said in that quote earlier: "It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: If I donated to charity for the rest of my life, and did with pride in my heart.......that good act is worthless. Because it's not always the act, but why I'm committing the act. And keep in mind the "lust after a woman and you commit adultery in your heart" quote. Adultery is breaking marriage vows. That verse is referencing committing adultery.

Didn't pick up the sequel. It's good the story is somewhat good. I'm tired of zombie games myself, but this one seems to stand out among the others for good reason.

Marriage is more than emotional, to be completely frank. Before making that commitment, a couple should know that there's a raw physical connection, as well.
The belief is still widespread, it's just poorly practiced.
It's just how I'm going to go about it. I'll still have sex, I'm just going to do so on those terms.

Alright, here we go! With most things regarding whether it's a sin or not, t's not always the act itself. But the heart, the reason behind the act. Having sex isn't a sin, but WHY you are having sex can be a sin. From Jesus Himself: "It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person." (NRSV, Mark 7:20-23) Paul wrote these 3 verses regarding "sexual immorality" The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. (NIV, Galatians 5:19-21) Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins people commit are outside their bodies, but those who sin sexually sin against their own bodies. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. (TNIV, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20)
