During the scene where Judy causes those wolfs to start howling, did every single furry in the room join in with them?

92
I'm fine with them protesting outside stores since there is logic to that, but where is the logic in following somebody around and harnessing them?

That shit right there I feel does the movement no good at all since it makes them look like a bunch of thugs. Whatever message they're trying to get through is simply lost when they're stalking somebody and yelling at them. They even go as far as to get up into people's faces to yell which makes them look like even bigger pieces of shit. The movement itself is trying to make people ashamed about buying fur, but they're basically killing it when they make themselves look like fools and thugs. What makes it even worse is that in those videos it's old women which they target, not young men or large men, just weak looking old women.

The Flood / Spoiler How is Harley, Slipknot and CB going to stop the next superman?
« on: August 14, 2016, 05:54:30 AM »
From what we seen with Deadshot he can use any type of modern gun and not miss with it, Diablo has his fire abilities and Killer Croc has his swimming abilities along with his skin and strength, but the rest of them are just normal people. Harley has nothing special at all about her, CB is just good at throwing boomerangs and Slipknot can just climb things. How is a baseball bat, a boomerang  and a grappling hook going to stop a guy who can fire lasers from his eyes while throwing a train at you?

The Flood / If you remember what was your first time getting drunk like?
« on: August 11, 2016, 04:13:38 AM »
inb4 a certain member gets triggered by this thread.

My first time was three weeks ago at a friends house which I consumed a bunch of vodka. My drunkenness happened to me ins stages. I went from feeling heavy, to feeling tipsy, to not being able to walk straight, to not being able to stand and finally being drunk enough where I have to lay down. Once the fire was over with my friend helped me walk inside and he gave me a bucket to use, which I'm proud to say I didn't use.

Gaming / In CE why did Cortana say Halo wasn't a weapon?
« on: August 05, 2016, 03:41:33 PM »
The whole point of the ring system was to wipe out all life in the galaxy(which it did) which means it's a type of weapon. True the rings were built to be able to support life, but their main purpose was to be used as a weapon against the flood.

Last night I tried the game at his house and honestly the game isn't as bad as I thought it was. The grinding will got repetitive for me but the gameplay I did find to be fun.

Melee:
DICE has fleshed out melee combat, allowing players to “literally destroy” enemies with the handheld weapons in the game. Each will have positive and negative aspects as some are lighter while others are heavier – as noted yesterday. Obviously, lighter weapons won’t produce as much damage as their heavier brethren, but they will provide faster reaction time.

Destruction:
Those who played Battlefield 3 and 4 who felt there wasn’t enough destruction, or levolution if you will, should be pleased to know their feedback has been addressed. As you see in the trailer, the plane smashing into the windmill sends parts of the aircraft flying all over the place along side bricks. If you look at the two biplanes shooting it out in the sky above the battleship, pieces are breaking off as each plane is hit by the other.

As parts of a plane are blown off, it will affect handling. This adds another layer to destruction in the game, making it more personal for the player causing the damage.

Gas Masks:
In the video, the section where the player puts his gasmask is really interesting. A freeze frame shows what appears to be the view seen once one is donned. Notice the restricted field of view. It will hard to see if an enemy is heading straight for the player. Imagine how frightening that was for troops in World War I.

Yesterday, DICE said players can decide which tactic to use when confronted with chemical warfare. They can put on their mask and charge through the gas, or choose to go around it via and alternate path. The latter sound like the ideal route, but that may not always be the case.

The spawn screen displays the map's action in real time:
In previous Battlefield games, the spawn screen was fairly standard: a 2D representation of the fight with notation of your teammates' locations and vehicles, as well as who controls the objectives spread around the map. But Battlefield 1 takes thing up a notch: the spawn screen is now a fully rendered overhead view of everything that's actually happening at ground level, so you're getting the entire picture of what's happening where. In other words, if you notice a spawn location covered in orange plumes of fire from a barrage of explosives, you should probably deploy somewhere else. Once you do, your camera will actually swing down to the first-person perspective, which makes for a pretty ace transition into gameplay.

Airships are the great equalizer:
When your team is getting crushed, it's time to deploy the airship. This massive behemoth will blot out the sun, and creates a last-ditch opportunity for your team to make a comeback. The airships may have the turning speed of chilled molasses, but they are fully controllable by players, who can steer them to where their heavy artillery is most needed. They're best used to rain down machine gun fire from the sky and mow down enemy infantry, but are balanced by the fact that they're giant, largely vulnerable targets for passing biplanes and flak gunners on the ground. When an airship is finally taken out, it crash-lands with a colossal explosion, leaving a twisted metal skeleton that creates a new obstacle to deal with during skirmishes.

New methods of mobility include the high vault and bayonet charge:
Maybe soldiers back in the day were made of tougher stuff than modern infantry, because these WW1 troops have mobility options that are a first for the Battlefield series. If you've ever been annoyed that you can't leap over certain pieces of terrain, you'll adore the new 'high vault' maneuver, which lets you quickly mantle objects in the environment even if they're a little taller than you are. Then there's the bayonet charge, which sends you into a dash that can potentially kill an unassuming enemy in one deadly skewering. It almost looks like the charge is even faster than sprinting, but that might be a trick of the steadied perspective, because a map full of constantly charging players wouldn't make much sense from a balance perspective

Tanks take locational damage:
Tanks seem to be the bread and butter of your attacking forces in Battlefield 1. Being the earliest examples of mobile armored weaponry, the WW1 tanks aren't invincible against the smaller, squishier enemy infantry. The tank's functionality and mobility can be affected depending on where the tank takes damage, and whether you're piloting a light, medium, or heavy tank. Firing rockets and chucking grenades won't do much if aimed at a tank's armor plating; instead, you should stick an explosive underneath the tank treads, destroy its mobility, and effectively turn the warmachine into a giant, metal sitting duck.

Ground deformation is the new evolution:
There weren't many skyscrapers to destroy among the trenches of the Western Front, but Battlefield 1 isn't skimping on the map destructibility. Along with the aforementioned mass destruction caused by fallen airship, every explosion can create a giant crater in the loose soil of each map. If you need to dig into a position, you could use the hole from an obliterated tank to take cover, or blow out the ground from underneath an enemy. Speaking of tanks, they can plow through stone walls like they were air, letting you completely alter the maps cover points as you cruise around.

Each class has gadgets aplenty:
Battlefield may take place at the dawn of modern warfare, but that doesn't mean you don't have the necessary equipment to keep you alive and take out your enemies. Soldier classes are returning in BF1 and with them we're getting familiar items like medic bags for healing friends, revive syringes to bring squadmates back from the dead, and anti-tank grenades to fight against armored vehicles. Then there's items that aren't as familiar, like gas masks that protect you from mustard gas deployments, bayonets that allow you to charge at enemies and run them through, and anti-armor rocket guns that must be fired from a prone position.

TLDW. There are unmarked cars giving the tow drivers the location of a crash by using a police app. When a crash does happen these drivers swarm to it like sharks on blood and they try to get the victim to have them tow their car. The place they will take it to is the worst place you can imagine due to the shop paying the drivers to take your car their. For the towing fee it's either as much as what a semi would be for the same distance if not higher. Then there's the storage fee for your car which will be extremely high as well.

So then if you do get into a crash there like I said say "no" to every driver that appears on the scene and call your insurance company to see where to take your car. For the towing I think they have their list of companies they want you to use, if not then you guys might have your version of triple A. If you do have to call a tow driver then much sure the guy towing your car is the person/place you called.

The Flood / Spoiler You think Daenerys is going to have safe voyage and invasion?
« on: June 28, 2016, 04:34:19 AM »
I want to say yes but due to the nature of the show/books when it comes to the main characters I'm going to say no. I'm expecting her ships to get the same treatment the Mongol's received during their invasion of Japan. If they do land safely then I'm expecting them to get screwed over by winter due to them not being prepared for it. Even if they do have the clothing then food is going to be a problem for the men and horses. Yes she can plunder it but if she wants to care for the people then they're going to need food as well.

It's Lyanna Stark. The reason for me thinking this is due to the flashbacks Ned was having in the first book.

Promise me, Ned his sister had whispered from her bed of blood.
"Promise me" would be her telling Ned to look after John which she died giving birth to and for the bed of blood we all know giving birth to a baby is very bloody. For the farther it's not Ned, it's Rhaegar. When he got her pregnant either him or someone else sent her to that tower for her safety or for the unborn child. Rhaegar's family got brutally murdered so it wouldn't be far fetched for Lya to get murdered for having Rhaegar's child in her.

The Flood / Spoiler GoT S6: What do you think the rumor Cersei asked about is about?
« on: June 21, 2016, 04:04:23 AM »
I'm thinking it's about Gendry finally landing and he's the size of a giant due to all that rowing. For real I'm thinking it's either one of those two things.

1: The rumor is about Little Finger and the Tyrell's being the ones he poisoned Joffrey.

2: The rumor is about the cache of wildfire the made king had setup to burn down Kingslanding. To back this up in one of the visions Brandon had we seen a room of the stuff going off. So far there hasn't been a scene where we seen a room of it going off and for the past his plane died with him.

I'm going with The Hound due to him being a semi-main character. I just don't see any reason why he would get killed by a very minor character.
