I think the main reason halo 3 sucks story wise is because they were forced to do that cliffhanger in halo 2 when h3 and h2 were meant to be the same game. They even had to cut out a couple of missions that led up to the start of halo 3. When I first played h3 it just made me feel like the halo 3 campaign was half assed and needed more(which was bungie's original plan for it)
To me it sucks is because the first half of the game is completely random. If you played those levels for the first time you would have no idea what's going on in them until you beat them. With CE you have an understanding of what you're doing in the level from the start. With Halo 4 there's some levels where you do and there's an object you know what you're supposed to do until it changes. With Halo 3 the first half is so random that you can remove those levels and the story would still be the same. The only level in the first half that has an impact is the ending which opens the portal.

I expected everyone else to clearly see the joke. It's kinda hard to see a joke when the so called joke post has nothing that implies it's a joke. And it's posted to something that s nothing to go along with it. Usually if you post something as a joke to something the post goes along with the post it's replied to. Yours didn't. Guess I better put a great big fucking spoiler saying "ITS A JOKE" next time. Or you could know when to post something that would be a joke instead of posting a so called joke post to something it doesn't even go with. If it wasn't for you saying it's a joke post besides you every member on this site would not know it was supposed to be a joke.

Gotta say it's probably the odd one out of the collection. 3 feels so different compared to CE, 2, and 4, and not in a good way.
I can see why it's the odd one out. With Halo CE we have a strong campaign and story. This is the first time we are able to play the MP online for the Xbox. So CE has that going for it. Halo 2 has a fun and memorable campaign which got remastered. There's the online that got brought back to life. So Halo 2 is the main game for this collection. Halo 4 doesn't have that strong of a MP but it's still playable and it has a strong campaign or at least a decent one. Then there's Halo 3. It has a weak story and for myself I didn't find the campaign memorable. For the gameplay it's basically Halo 2. The only main difference is that Halo 3 has equipment. So Halo 3 would be getting over shadowed by Halo 2's MP which got brought back to life.

Like I said you're most likely saying it's a joke due to damage control. There is nothing in that post that implied it was a joke and it wasn't posted at something for it to be a joke. When Snake brought that up you avoided it. When I brought that up you avoided it and only posted about Halo Wars. Then when I brought it up a 2nd time that's when you responded to it and said it was a joke. You're just saying its a joke because of damage control and you now it. If it truly was a joke then you shouldn't have been avoiding the question that much when asked about it. The first time it was brought up by snake that's when you should have said it was a joke.

I don't mean it to be a bad thing. The reason why I said even Halo Wars is because it doesn't fallow the rest of the Halo games and it's a console RTS. So the fanbase for that game would be lower compared to the other games.

The only thing I liked about Halo 3 were the maps. I found them fun to play on and they were great for custom games. So far that flat indoor map and San Box are the best maps to me for forging. Other than that I found the game to be shit. The story didn't start until you're half way into the game and the first half is completely random. The game has no memorable levels to me and I found them boring. For the gameplay I hate that one gun aspect to it and it has useless weapons.
For story I still find CE to be the best and that game along with Halo 2 I find to have fun and memorable levels. For gameplay I like Halo 4. I don't mind the class system and I like that each weapon is useful which is something that hasn't been done since CE.
