Spartan IIs and Spartan IIIs true Spartans.
How? The majority of the people you are using as Spartans for the Spartan 2 program become casualties from the augmentations. With the Spartan 3 program you're still using kids which takes them longer to train. With soldiers volunteering to be Spartans you have a near limitless amount of people and it takes them less longer to become Spartans than it would with kids.

Gaming / Is the Spartan 4 program the "true" spartan program?
« on: December 21, 2014, 06:51:35 AM »
The ORION Project didn't work out as great as what the people in charge of it thought it would be.

The Spartan 2 program did create effective super soldiers but at the same time I consider it a fail. They kidnapped kids and trained them which hinders the amount of people they have doing the program. If that wasn't bad enough then there's the augmentations which has a high casualty rate. So on top of having limited numbers in the program there's these augmentations which lowers the numbers even more. So you have to end up kidnapping even more children than what you should just to make up for the ones lost during the augmentations. The other problem is that it's a waste of time training kids. With people that are already soldiers you can put them into the field a lot sooner.

For the Spartan 3 program the Spartan weren't as great as the Spartan 2's physical wise but the augmentations were 100% safe. So if you have 500 people getting the augmentations done to them you will have 500 people after that to use. The only real negative thing about this program is that just like the Spartan 2 program they are kidnapping children for it.

Then there's the Spartan 4 program. The augmentations are as safe as the Spartan 3's but here's the great thing about this program. Instead of using kids they are using volunteers which gets rid of that dark aspect to the program. So there is really a limitless number of Spartans you can have for this program. The other good thing is that since they are using already trained people they don't have to waste as much time training them since they were kids. They are able to put these people into the fields as Spartans as soon as possible.

Typical sep7. 'Why isn't this a shooter'
 ;)
I'm just looking at it from a tech point of few. The game seems like it takes place in the future or some alternate earth with advanced tech but they're still using ancient forms of weapons. I just find that dumb. It's the same thing with Star Ocean The Last Hope. We go from using our advanced rail guns to using swords and shit because of a single encounter with a single species on a single planet. With that logic the military should stop using rifles and start using rocket launchers because the AR bullets are useless against tanks.

Halo is growing ever closer to CoD.
The zoom had to be redone. The left trigger thing is a lot easier to use than constantly clicking the analog stick to get in and out of it. Simply holding the trigger in to zoom and letting go of it to get out is faster. It's also a good idea to have a type of zoom feature for the weapons that don't have a scope like the AR.

For the climbing thing that makes sense as well. It is dumb that if there's a wall in front of you that you can't jump over you have to go around it. with this you simply have your super solider climb over it.

Its not Bungies fault its activision
So Activison told Bungie that if they still want them to publish the game then Bungie had to make the game have barely a story and be a repetitive grind? Bungie was making this game since before ODST so it's not just Activision's fault Destiny turned out to be shit. Bungie is also responsible for the games problems.

Nope, Bungie is ruined and 343i is still trying their hardest to kill Halo. I expect the multiplayer and campaign to be as shit as Halo 4.
The cringe is real.

Don't you talk about Septy that way mate.
Hey, I'm just saying, it's embarrassing to see someone treat a fantasy like real life.

Halo games being as shitty as Halo 4 is a very, very real danger.
Well Halo 2 is broken and unfinished, the first half of the campaign to Halo 3 is pointless and Reach is just shit. So Bungie doesn't have a great track record either when it comes to Halo. Hell Halo 4 wasn't that bad. Halo wise the story wasn't bad, the campaign was fun and the MP is just different.

With 343 I do. The campaign to Halo 4 wasn't bad. It has a story and the levels are not boring. Sure I wouldn't go back to them but I found them to be funnier than Reach and some for Halo 3. The MP in Halo 4 wasn't bad either. The maps is what kept me from playing it. I didn't find them to be as fun as the ones in Halo 3. Right now I'm playing the Halo 5 beta. The new zoom is great, the weapons are great and I like that there's a health bar. If they don't do anything stupid this should be both a good and a good Halo game.

With Bungie I have no trust in the mat all. The campaign to Halo 3 I find to be shit, Reach is just shit and Destiny is shit as well. I have no hope and trust in them at all.

You need to be more active before you get Legendary.
Every day isn't classed as active?
You have 8-9 days logged online so far. You'll need more to get Legendary.
So basically you have to no life the site?

What people don't remember is that Hitler was VOTED to power, meaning the people wanted him to be Chancellor as they to felt Jews were responsible for the economic problems. But these same people that supported Hitler were also Catholic, as the population of Germany was largely Catholic. Hitler had plans to eradicate all religions from Germany but had to start with the Jews because for one nobody liked them and secondly, had no way to properly defend themselves.
It wasn't only Catholics that supported the guy. There were also Jews that voted for and supported him.

Wish the game had randomly generated npc villagers.
That would be nice. Every so often when you visit a location you come across some people that are from different areas of Skyrim and the other countries/areas in the lore.
There's a mod for that.
Link? <.<

I know several mods that add new npcs.

This one expands all the 5 major capitals with new buildings and a few new npcs:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58275/?

This one expands all small villages with more buildings, npcs and new textures:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13608/?

This one adds 94 unique custom-voiced npcs to all towns. Quality varies, but generally on par with bethesda's voice acting:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36334/?

This one adds 250 unique-custom voiced npcs all over the place and over 50 quests, dips here and there but has some really well-develpoed characters:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8429/?

This one adds patrols of dawnguard, soldiers, and bandits to the roads, as well as a bunch of random travelers and peddlers:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12977/?

This adds several battles between rival factions, so you'll actually get to see the civil war happening outside the main quest:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9494/?

This one adds random generic npcs, but I don't use it since combining it with the others above could blow up my laptop.
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13837/?
Thanks. If I feel like it I might bring out my laptop. I just wish the combat system for the game wasn't so bland. It's nothing more than a hack and slash.

Sounds good, should give automatic weapons a fair chance now. I'm really interested to see how it looks on the Needler and other Covenant weapons. Damn, really wish I had a code...
The AR does handle very well in this. In Halo 4 the weapon wasn't so bad for medium range but now it's a lot better since you're able to see that player a little better in it. In Halo 4 the automatic weapons were around the same level as the semi weapons but now they're pretty much in the same ballpark(AR and SMG wise.).

I hate to make the comparison but it does work in the same way and as well in games like CoD. You push down the left trigger to go in it and you release it to get out. So no more constantly clicking the analog stick to get in and it. It's a lot faster and easier. It also still has the dropout thing as well when you're talking damage. When you get shot you get out and it keeps you out of it until you're talking no more damage. So you can hold down the left trigger and not once get into it if I'm firing at you with the AR.

I was in one with BC and we couldn't hear each other. He wasn't able to hear me on his end and it was the same for me. My mic is not broken since I was able to talk and hear people in Halp 5.
