From the looks of it he fired so many rounds that the heat from the barrel caught the wood on fire. Even with the gun being that hot it's still able to fire without jamming or having any other problems. So what other AR's out there are able to fire like that? I don't mean being on fire but with the same amount of heat build up and continues fire.

Did you happen to contradict Predator or offend his delicate funds sensibilities in any way?

If so he'll comb through your posts and threads looking for an excuse to ban you.

The only other thing I can think of are the new mods that kind if have a thing against the flood.
I remember he posted a post saying he would kill his family if a voice in his head which he thinks would be God told him to.

The Flood / Re: Are automatic weapons all that dangerous?
« on: January 16, 2015, 05:28:14 AM »
The standard for being "BTFOd" sure has dropped. I don't care how much experience you have with guns, fully automatic assault rifles simply have no place in a civilian's hands. End of story.

That's literally as pointless as saying, handguns, shotguns, rifles, bows, knives, automobiles, bats, tire irons and countless other objects have no place in civilian hands. The point is, we have every right to have them in our hands so long as we are responsible.
Handguns, shotguns, and rifles are nowhere near the same level as assault rifles. I know you're not this dumb.
Fucking LOL

Please, Class, stop saying Assault Rifle at least, Okay?

Give me a rooftop and my grandfather's .44 bolt action Remington and I can do more damage than an assailant with an AR15 in an open plaza before we're brought down.
Well, you're trained. Automatic rifles take out the skill requirement. Any schlub can pick up an assault rifle and kill dozens of people before he's brought down. It takes a skilled marksman to do as much damage with a semi-automatic or manual rifle.
Unless your decently built you're probably not going to be able to handle the recoil. At most you're going to fire a few rounds before you let go of the trigger due to recoil. And for the gunning down dozens of people thing. No you're not unless you have a very large round source. Watch this video. He's using a 75 round drum and look at how fast he burned through it. With a 30 round mag you're going to burn through that in about 2 seconds. With the 75 round drum he burned though that in around 5. Also you can tell this guy lifts unlike your average person. So no. Unless you have a weapon that has like 100 plus rounds to it with a slower rate of fire you're not going to gun down dozens of people.

...Well, yeah. A gun that can fire half a dozen bullets in one second is probably more likely to kill somebody than a gun that fires just one bullet per trigger-squeeze.
True but it depends on the semiautomatic. My AK which fires 7.62x39 rounds would most likely kill somebody if I shot them once in the chest than if I shot them in the chest with a 9mm or 22. With an automatic you are more likely to kill somebody faster but look at the cost. You have recoil and it burns through your ammo a lot faster. With semiautomatic you can pump out rounds at a slower pace and you conserve a lot more ammo. With automatic fire you can burn through your mag withing seconds. Like I said the semiautomatic gun with a 75 round drum is going to be more of a danger than the automatic AK with a 30round mag. If anything the 75round drum should be banned or made harder to get than the AK with the automatic firing mode.

« on: January 15, 2015, 06:43:02 PM »
Just because it has the feature to pump out lead with the trigger pressed doesn't mean you're going to be killing more people. It just means you're wasting more ammo. If anything the auto fire is to simple put suppressive fire on a target in the hopes you get him or to prevent him form firing back. Most of the time I think the soldiers would be using a burst fire.  Look at an uzi. The fire rate on that thing is so damn high that you would be lucky if you gunned down 3 people on automatic. With semi fire you would be able to gun down more people because you're using a firing mode that is firing one round at a time.

It's the same thing with AKM's or AR-15's. If you have a 30 round mag and you're firing on automatic you're wasting a lot of ammo into one person. You're going to burn through that faster than if you're firing on semi automatic. An automatic AK with the firing mode is going to be hardly any more dangerous than the current semi automatic ones. If anything a semi automatic AK with a 75 round drum is going to be more dangerous than an automatic one with a 30 round mag. If anything is more dangerous it's the ability to carry that many rounds in a single thing. To me mag sizes would be more of a danger than if automatic AK's and AR-15's with the firing mode are replacing the current semiautomatic only ones.

Devs were more efficient back then. Now they're sloppy and don't optimize for shit.
It's pretty damn sad when the games that are also for last gen take up so much space on the PS4 and Xbone. Better graphics or not there's no reason why a game like Ghosts takes up 50gbs or close to it.

« on: January 15, 2015, 07:38:50 AM »
When it came to the size of the game for example the map in Fallout or Skyrim. Did the 360 have any effect on its size due to its format? With the PC you can simply download the game and due to the harddrive size and externals the space the game takes up is hardly there. With the PS3 there's the Blu-Ray discs which 50gb and more. Then with the 360 its using the outdated DVD format which only holds 8gb or somewhere below 10gb. So if a game is too large it has to have more than one disc. For example Star Ocean The Last Hope is one disc on the PS3 and it's 3 discs on the 360. Did that format hinder the size of the maps for games?
