I've never had an issue with Campaign progress saving in DICE's games before.
Still doesn't change that it's a known issue with the last two games. You're blindly pre-ordering a game for story when the people that are making this game had an issue with their last two games that deletes your progress. I'm not much of a multiplayer guy either. What's the point of getting this game then when the MP is the main focus of the game? Battlefront was never a story focused game. And I'm not giving into hype. You are basically doing the same thing. You're giving into the game due to blind ffanboyism because Lucasfilm is involved with this game. I'm giving into my love for Star Wars. Which is giving into the hype...You're already getting this game all because it's a Star Wars. The game can be as good as Colonial marines for all I care, I'm getting it for story. Lel. The stroy isn't going to mean much when the game as shit gameplay or a campaign. Super Man 64 can have the greatest story ever but it's not going to get the game far when it's unplayable.

Unlike most people, I preorder games that I research and have had a good reputation from the developer. Preordering is showing support for the company. Will I do it for a game that's a piece of shit? No. Will I do it for tthe next portal or L4D? Maybe.
Reputation and trust means shit all.
Researching a game won't determine if it'll work on release or be good.
Pre-order isn't showing support. It shows that you're willing to fork over money for a game that's not finished, which gives developers less of a reason to make the game work.
Pre-ordering hurts the industry.
Pre-ordering every othe game title you purchase hurts the industry. For example, I plan to preorder Battlefront. You know why? Because there has never been a Star Wars game with a shitty story, even the gritty ones.I highly doubt Battlefront will break this example, you know why? Because the story team over at Lucasfilm is keeping DICE and EA in check to bring a good Star Wars experience.
Lel. The story isn't going to mean much when your campaign progress is going to get reseted and the main part of the game which is the MP is going to be broken. Showing blind faith into a developer is retarded. we know what the launches for BF3 and BF4 were like so having this blind faith into Battlefront is asinine. The only thing you and others are doing by pre-ordering this is showing developers you are giving into the hype instead of waiting to see what the game ends up being. If you people actually waited to see what the game is like when it is released then these developers wouldn't be making games that are badly broken or unfinished. They would actually have to try at them and include the cut or hold back content. Look at what Destiny turned out to be. You people that blindly pre-order are risking games to be like that.
