So would you say people piss all over Halo whenever they use Forge mode, in order to make maps that are better than the vanilla ones? No, because Forge is an actual part of the game.
It's still the same concept. Bungie gave us the ability with Forge to modify the maps. Adding tanks to a map that doesn't have them is no different than adding vehicles or weapons to a game that doesn't have them. Bungie giving Halo Forge is no different than Bethesda having the constriction sets for the Elder Scrolls to mod them.

Here's a solution: Don't cut out important parts of the game.
Don't have the community do your fucking work for you.
It was cut because Lucasarts forced them to releases the game months before schedule. Shouldn't have been cut out in the first place. Same as above. Whatever content they were planning on having ended up being cut due to Lucasarts forcing them to releases an unfinished game. If the game was released on schedule then that content would have been in the game.

His point is that there are mods that fix games. The mod article he linked for KoTOR 2 is a restoration mod. That mod adds content to the game that was cut. Some of the content that was cut was major story elements like the HK factory. You want through the whole game having the HK droids trying to kill you and you tried to find out where they came from. With the mod you are able to to that. Then for the other mods they ended up being their own game. Mods like Team Fortress and Counter-Strike ended up becoming their own games. So because of people making mods we are able to restore content to a game that was going to play a major rule or having games that started out being a mod.

I just hope they differentiate between playing as Chief and Locke in terms of gameplay.
Like, Chief has an inferior iteration of MJOLNIR than Locke does, and Locke has superior armour as well as being backed by ONI.
Same here. I hate the the Arbiter is basically a MC clone. Sure your allies are different but you're still killing the same enemies and bound by the same gameplay. The stealth aspect to him should have been more in depth.

For the trailers as you know there's one for each character. There's the one about Locke walking up to the Chief and the Chief has one that's reversed. Because of that you think there's going to be a duel campaign where each character has a separate one? For Alien VS Predator 2010 each of the three characters have their own campaign. It's different from each other but it takes place at the same locations at different times and sometimes involves each other. For the Xeno the predator you inpregnated you end up fighting as the Predator.

Everyone probably thought it was going to be a simple update for Destiny like a forum for it. Like you said I don't think anybody was expecting a new website let alone a shitty one.
Yeah and the way they worded their site maintenance. They said to expect it to be brief. I thought it was going to be quick, instead it took 3 days and Bungie was all like "this is a test don't panic." When I saw what happened everyone was freaking the fuck out including me. People were telling me "calm down it's just a beta, things will go back to normal soon" only to have the site get worse and worse as time went on.
Now I'm locked out of there and the only resemblance to Bungie.old is here really. If Cheat Implements Private Groups and Sep7agon has something to offer to attract more people, I might join a few private groups.
The maintenance thing was probably them trying to surprise us. They might have thought that we would have been shocked by having a new website and that we would have liked it. I want to know what was going through who's ever head when they designed it. The whole thing was a mess and like you said got worse. For the second update I love that they have a white background even though people complained about it in the first one. It seems like Bungie is trying their best to drive people away from their games and their site.

Yeah, that sounds safe. Driving on an interstate at 80mph, having your car suddenly let off the gas, then having to smash the pedal down, all potentially in traffic. No way that could go wrong.
That's the same problem I see as well. It would make passing impossible when a sign comes at you. You could be ahead of a car and all of a sudden a wild sign shows up which causes your car to slow down and the person behind you hits you. Something like this seems like it would only work right and be safe in towns and residential areas.
Some streets where I live have some pretty ridiculous limits. Like, this one 2-lane road whose speed limit could easily be 35 is instead 25 because some kid died 3 streets away when he pretty much walked in front of a moving vehicle.
There's this town by me that's the same way. Going through the town it's 35 and for about two miles it's still at 35. The thing about the town is that once you leave it you could safely go 50 since that's the speed limit two miles down from it. You go from 35 straight up to 50 withing just one sign. The whole area is just a bullshit speed trap. The same thing is the highway behind me. You go from 55 down to 45 on a straight away that's 3 miles long. Once you get out of the 45 zone it goes up to 50 for about a mile then it goes back to 45.
