I'm not overly familiar w/ it but I think it's just that a fluctuation event in the vacuum is what caused the initial inflation from whatever initial vacuum state existed before our Universe as we know it. In quantum field theory the vacuum actually possesses a non-zero energy and this could have fluctuated in accord w/ quantum probability. . .I think. Like I said I'm not overly familiar w/ it.

Serious / Re: Atheist logical fallacy: assuming the default reality« on: October 27, 2014, 12:22:58 AM »nuWait what? Really? Please explainWhat would you call someone if they didn't believe in God and were 100% positive that he wasn't real?Burden of proof lies on the claimant; to claim that god doesn't exist requires substantiation. However, that's not what typical atheists believe, which is that there simply isn't evidence to believe in the existence of a god. 3620

Serious / Re: Atheist logical fallacy: assuming the default reality« on: October 26, 2014, 11:59:27 PM »Agnosticism is about knowledge. In fact it's just being honest about how much you actually know or can know.Burden of proof lies on the claimant; to claim that god doesn't exist requires substantiation. However, that's not what typical atheists believe, which is that there simply isn't evidence to believe in the existence of a god. Atheism is about belief or faith. The two are entirely non-contradictory, it is entirely possible to acknowledge that you lack absolute knowledge about the existence of something but still make the pragmatic decision to doubt until such time as you are presented w/ satisfactory evidence. For example I don't believe Superman exists(faith), but I acknowledge that there is no way to know whether he is actually non-existent. There is no evidence for his existence and subsequently no reason for me to believe. 3625

You can't technically prove the graviton exists, but you know it's there. Is that not any different from believing in God?I DON'T KNOW! I don't know if we ever will.If God isn't real then what made the universe?"You must believe in it for it to work."The bottom line is that you're not going to understand God until you first believe in him, hence why you'll die an atheist and never go to Heaven. I'll pray for you, but that only goes so far.First of all, I never claimed to be a scientist or engineer, I'm working on it but I've got a long way to go.God is all forgiving, yes, but he's also all merciful. A mass murderer can't just say 'I'm sorry' at the very end of his life and expect to go to Heaven. And yes, an aborted baby does go to Heaven, and that's a good thing, but it's not the best thing. As a religious scientist, you can simply work out most of these issues in your head. Really, it's not that hard for anyone else claiming to be a scientist or engineer to do.According to Kinder's reasoning it's still the best thing for the child, they go to heaven w/o having to experience bad shit. That's different because it's murder. To both you and Kinder, take the word miscarriage and replace it w/ abortion.I don't even...You seriously have a reading comprehension issue I can see. Do you have down-syndrome or something? So if you and all your family were to die tomorrow, it'd be the best thing that could ever happen to you and them?Somebody doesn't have the comprehension to read my explanation.
