Sample size is about 1000. I assume this is where she gets the data from.
It must be noted however, that both males and females did better in different categories, but overall, the males had a higher variance in intelligence.
That gives a margin of error of about 3%. I don't know what margin of error is acceptable in sociology so I guess that doesn't really help. . . But given that IQ is only really useful at gauging certain aspects of intelligence, I'm not very convinced.

I would say this has a lot more to do with levels of aggression and how that influences behavior and passion than intelligence. IQ is shit anyways. A good number of murderers are high IQ or high functioning psychotics. It might also have to do with females tending to be more social, or at least more susceptible to peer pressure, while males tend to be better at developing complexes that defend them from that leveling force.
How is IQ shit? It's the best method we have for measuring systematizing behaviour, if that's what you consider to constitute intelligence.
Doesn't it usually lend itself to mathematical ability?
I haven't taken the test myself so I wouldn't know.
It's not totally useless but IIRC it's supposedly not all its cracked up to be. I feel like Jack is a bad example seeing as no one knows his identity so we have no way of gauging his IQ, other than the fact that psychopaths tend to be of higher IQ than average. I learned a bit about how 3D printing has actually improved the quality of collectables like these. Back in the day there was most likely not a readily available compatible computer 3D graphic design that the toy companies could utilize in creating the toys, so instead they would make their own, and this is why the older collectables sometimes look like trash. A lot of movies now use 3D printing to create components of their sets like in starwars and most of their ships, and toy companies can buy the rights to these computer graphic designs for their toys. This becoming epic toys and not trash.
Yeah, Lucasfilm actually gave Anovos the 3D model used to create the Stormtrooper armor in the new movie, and now they're going to sell replica First Order Trooper helmets.
That's badass! Although, imo the fans have been rather creative and inventive all on their own and have created some fantastic Storm Trooper armor and helmets.

A few weeks ago my sisters went to a nearby city and had photos taken with a bunch of people cosplaying as stormtroopers (there was a regular one, an AT-AT pilot and a black stormtrooper, from what I remember). They looked exactly like the ones from the movies.
Yeah the numbers of Storm Troopers at DragonCon has diminished greatly imo, because when I first started going almost 10 years ago everyone was a Storm Trooper, like even the children! This year I saw some very well done brony-Storm Trooper mashups. I would expect that to come out looking like shit but I was very impressed with what I saw

You do realize I was only responding to the op, which was about people that claim gender is totally separated from biology. I never implied that's what you were saying. I'm one of those people, though. Except nobody actually believes gender is totally separated from biology—I've yet to meet one. What most people on my side argue is that gender is influenced by societal expectations and environmental factors (your upbringing & conditioning) FAR more than it is dictated by any negligible biological factors. To the point where you may as well not even bring biology up, and instead say, "these are SEX characteristics."
That's fine, I guess that's what I get for posting after only reading the op.
