Sorry, I'm never giving CFA another penny.
you're not making the cathys any less rich and bigoted by not enjoying their delicious, gay-hating chicken
op: the spicy sandwich is better imo
That's true, but I cannot, in good faith, give money to a company that uses it in such a fashion.
Sure you can, just remember the money you're giving them has probably been in the ass crack of a stripper. . .maybe even a gay stripper.

This would be an actual example of rape by deception:
In California, on February 20, 2009, Julio Morales snuck into a sleeping 18-year-old woman’s darkened bedroom after he saw her boyfriend leave. The woman said she awoke to the sensation of someone having sex with her and assumed it was her boyfriend. When a ray of light hit Morales’s face, and the woman saw he was not her boyfriend, she fought back and Morales fled. The woman called her boyfriend, who then called the police. Julio Morales was convicted of rape under two concepts. He was guilty of rape because he began having sex with the woman while she was still asleep and, therefore, unable to consent. He was also guilty of rape-by-fraud because he had impersonated the woman’s boyfriend in order to gain her consent pretty sure that's just rape.

Implying Interstellar deserves a spot on this list...
Better than 2001: A Snorefest
If you think it's better than 2001 I'll have to check it out.
don't listen to that fgt. It's pretty good but it'll never be better than 2001.
Take off your nostalgia glasses ffs, Interstellar was amazing
interstellar was great. 2001 was just better, especially in its vision of what's it's like to travel through outer space. Also, fucking Kubrick mane.

Something along the lines of: I don't want to die, so I assume you also don't want to die. So then we shouldn't kill each other.
I guess.
I'll lay my position out in a set of premises, if you like:
- Moral sentences express propositions, are are thus truth-apt - These propositions relate to objective facts about the world - These objective facts (moral features) are reducible to non-moral facts.
In this way, we can determine exactly what is (im)moral within a situation, in principle.
But how do you go about deriving moral statements from non-moral facts of reality? How does it not fall afoul of the is-ought problem?
1. some objective fact 2. 3. what ought to be done
From my understanding a value judgement of some type must always come in at 2 and only from there can an ought be derived. Aren't value judgments almost always subjective?
is ought problem is a joke
all forms of inquire necessarily presuppose some sort of value, like the worth of empiricism and naturalism

Right and wrong isn't subjective; morality is based on factual propositions. People can clearly be wrong about right and wrong, and you should tell them as such.
Allow me to derail this thread. In saying that moral statements can be right or wrong are you merely saying they are propositional statements with a true or false value or are you saying that can be derived non-subjectively? I would argue that while moral statements can be true or false, they are ultimately based on assignment of value which, in my understanding, is pretty much always subjective. There for the truth value would only be with respect to how well they reflect that individuals or communities values. I'm sure I'm mistaken. If you're saying moral statements can be derived from non-moral aspects of reality, I'm really unsure as to how that works, an explanation would be nice.
