I just want to point out that just because something's infinite doesn't mean there exists all possible combinations of events. For instance, an infinite string of numbers, such as pi, by no means contains all combinations of numbers.
The figures that show up in pi aren't correlated. The relative positions of the particles that make up matter(stars, planets, people) are correlated through the fundamental forces, doesn't that make that comparison misleading?

And the only reason their atmospheres are so big are because the rocky bits are massive enough to gravitationally capture free hydrogen and helium.
