I'd recommend he just bump up to an i7 instead, Ryzen barely performs on the same level as an i7 when it comes to gaming. I will admit though I don't know about its streaming performance.
Seems pretty good. Might want to consider Ryzen for streaming + gaming though. Ryzen has more threads and cores which makes it more suited for streaming and general workstation tasks. It depends on what matters to OP the most.
Well streaming would be a nice plus to my rig. But like I said it's a gaming PC and I would have to rely on my internet in the place I'll be living at to hopefully let me stream some stuff like league or whatever.

It's pretty poetic how he told someone to "get cancer and die" and then proceeded to get cancer and die.
Didn't even realize that was him but apparently he's said some pretty shitty things in the past. Definitely taints "his legacy" or whatever you wanna call it, but he still doesn't deserve this.
i can't think of a single person who hasn't said shitty things in the past
i don't think i'd trust a person who's never said a shitty thing
Sure thing, but there's different levels of shittiness. We've all insulted people and said offensive stuff but "get cancer and die", "die you fucking piece of shit, die alone", "get cancer enjoy your third-world hellhole, eat a dick", "fucking kill yourself" - all unironic, in total seriousness and because of people talking about him online? Gonna go out on a limb here and say that these comments are shittier and well beyond what most people tend to say.
Anyways, I never watched this guy's videos and have no feelings towards him either way. His death is a shame and I'm not at all interested in dragging him through the mud or anything, but the stuff he's said unfortunately does taint his memory.
tbh i dont even remember why he said that.

I personally find Fortnite better but then again I was playing with my brother and friends from NY. All of us are poor so we were never interested in spending extra money so we always focused more on just goofing off and having fun.
Also fuck Tilted Towers. Tomato Town is best town.
tomato is literally the worst
theres jacksquat there
I love tomato town

I have one more academic year to finish my astronomy major and physics minor. I would've gotten a physics major but the quantum professor said no because she doesn't want me to fail and I don't wanna stay another fucking semester being jewed out thousands for one core class to finish a second bachelors. Plus I hate physics. Might get a research position with faculty about asteroid stuff which seems promising. Technically I graduate this coming fall but I'm starting the extra semester for research experience and maybe a during internship for a newspaper.
Also I went bar hopping
astronomy is cool, it was one of the majors i was thinking about before i chose biology. what else would you wanna do w/ thag astronomy major?
i have to take physics too, super not looking forward to that
what is bar hopping
I'm hoping to find/classify asteroids and maybe later move on to extra galactic astronomy cause I love galaxy formation and cosmology. Physics 1 isn't so bad but it really isn't fun. Just motion and whatever. Better than the electricity portion which I fucking despise. Bar hopping is just going to different bars and drinking.

Anyone here following the OW League?
i would if every team comp wasnt exactly the fucking same besides 1 or 2 heroes.
Next stage might change things up with the balance adjustments and new hero. Still, I think there's enough diversity to keep things interesting. Plenty of different picks to go around imo. The meta is pretty clear at this point and the most common comp is definitely Genji / Tracer, Winston / DVA and Zen / Mercy, but there's enough variations of that going around. For DPS, Junkrat / Widow / Sombra all see pretty frequent use as well. And on certain maps, Pharah and McCree get picked pretty often too. For Tank, Orisa and Roadhog are also played often enough and Lucio / Moira (sometimes Ana too) get picked a decent bit. And the others are really just situational and map specific. For example, we don't see many Zarya's right now but she was picked all the time on the last stage because the maps fit her better.
The only heroes that aren't picked are Torbjorn and Symmetra. Doomfist, Rhein, Hanzo, Bastion and Reaper are all rare but have made some appearances here and there. Pick and dive is just the current meta, so you'll see Winston / Dva / Tracer picked 90% of the time, but imo there's enough room to keep it interesting.
i just cant really enjoy it. the meta is too hunkered down and there really isnt much to keep me interested. the reason i like watching competitive league is because theres bans that keep it diverse and new things that do happen to change the gameplay and champion picks. overwatch, yea, i can learn from the pros but watching the first several games when it started just kept me away from it, along with some of the pros being toxic in their own regards and being suspended or banned. though, league has its fair share of the same type of people. (meteos)

where are you gonna get soil from
Mars' soil is actually decent for farming. It's more or less a "just add water and fertiliser" type situation.
im by no means a planetary astronomer (fkin hate it) but isnt it toxic as hell?

Too much energy and resources would be required to do such a thing, it'll be ridiculously hard and take so long to achieve decent results
The amount of time it would take isn't surprising, and I think whatever resources it would take to make another planet habitable for us would be worth it. What are your sources saying the resources required would be to much?
we'd have to build domes and carry so many resources over time to just build those "habitable" zones. theres no atmosphere to even keep in whatever we'd "terraform" if we were "successful". this tech is too hard to do in our lifetimes and not guaranteed.
