I've had one sting me once because I ended up watering its little nest in the bush.
I've had four gang up on me when I was little. I was having this spur of activity involving trapping and pestering wasps for some reason. My sister comes in the house and gets me outside and I see four wasps sitting on my porch looking up at me all pissed. It's crazy because my friends, while keeping distance, made a circle around them. They were as confused as me. Then, when I was inching away from those fuckers, one small one jumped up and the rest followed and I ran so fast that only one of the three got to me. Right in the calf. I learned my lesson, never built a fear (rather I built a respect for them), and now I handle wasps with care. (Via, luring them on my finger by putting a dab of honey on it.)
