Serious / Ukraine update: The Rebellion Strikes Back.« on: August 27, 2014, 10:10:40 AM »
Not sure if you've been following it, but over the past few days, the Rebels launched a new counter-offensive in the south and they've taken several Ukrainian cities by the Black Sea coast. But now it's (even more) obvious that Russia is directly backing the Rebels, especially since they launched their offensive from "right next" to the Russian border. So it seems like they aren't completely fucked yet, and they still have a couple of cards up their sleeve. What do you guys think about what's going on down there?
EDIT: Oh wait, this is the Economics forum so nobody's gonna read this. My mistake. >.> 526

Serious / Re: Is there any scenario in which a state is justified in sterilizing an individual« on: August 26, 2014, 10:32:01 PM »Surprised people haven't suggested only sterilizing convicted rapists. It's like the death penalty, you can't undo it, and that's the big problem. What would happen if that convicted "rapist" was later found to be totally innocent of his crime. It's really not hard to successfully accuse somebody of rape. 534

The Flood / Re: Most embarrassing moment« on: August 26, 2014, 10:12:01 PM »Not as bad as mine, but I like how you learned from your mistakes. Nice!I didn't see yours as too embarrassing cause it was just other people peeping at a couple of drawings of yours. Didn't seem like you did much wrong, and it was more other people who had the problem. And, well, maybe my one isn't as bad as I think it is like how your one isn't as bad as you think it is. |
