why wouldn't I be man? I'm not plunging myself into debt only to spend the rest of my life paying it off. there are lots of things i can get into to make money, i won't enjoy but at least i'll have money for food n shizz

by slowlane you mean it won't get you lots of money? if that's the case then i know but it also provides security whereas other endeavours don't. see a job in the scientific field probably won't make me a millionaire but at least the pay will be sufficient and consistent whereas business could provide higher rewards but at greater risks. just an example btw

You have to get a career. You have to have SOMETHING, so that you don't wander around your whole life from job to job just scraping by.
Nothing that's worth it is easy. You know this. I'm not trying to lecture you or trying to preach or anything, but you need to get a career. You can pay that debt back. Don't give up. Don't let this be the rich man's world where only a select few get to expand their minds and really DO something.
We have a duty, the young people of this generation. We need to be infinitely better than our ancestors. We need to understand this is bigger than our pleasure and our pain, that there's so much for humanity to achieve.
thanks man, i'm gonna stay hopeful until my results come out. i'll work out the different paths I can take and see which fits best.
Don't give up man. I've seen too many people that gave up before they started. I grew up around people who didn't want a future. I'm tired of that. I'm tired of disenfranchised people and hopelessness and one out of a hundred making it.
I'm tired of starving kids being ignored and everybody acting like they don't exist, then they tell us we're monsters when we get desperate and do anything to get ahead. We need to change that.
I'm trying, but it's like whenever I get close something else get's into my way and it's just never straightforward. Although that's probably the case for most people I just haven't seen it from their perspective. I've seen first hand what happens when people give up, getting into drug money or some other dumb shit and they just end up being deadbeats. I feel bad for calling them that because I grew up those people but that's what they are and they chose to throw it all away, it's cool tho I'll try to make sure that doesn't happen to me.
