Gaming / Re: Question about Rome Total War 2« on: May 20, 2016, 08:16:16 AM »did you get it to work after the campaign map kept flooding? i know someone with the same problemYeah but they all look the same D:between factions yes, nothing really sets them apart except their colours, however from the course of the start of campaign to late game you have like 30 units to pick from which is decentand the units have a great variety.Don't believe these lies. One of the main criticisms of that game is lack of unit/faction diversity. 2721

here's angry joe playing the game
https://www.twitch.tv/angryjoeshow/v/67439191 now i know >Angryjoe but i find he is honest in regards to problems with games and his criticisms are usually accurate. he doesn't say much about the games flaws but holy hell is he shit at playing, like he doesn't change stance from horde to encampment, he doesn't research tech, no fucking diplomacy, it's hard to watch more than 10 minutes. 2725
Gaming / Re: Question about Rome Total War 2« on: May 20, 2016, 04:24:30 AM »Yeah there's a bunch of mods for Rome 2 on workshop, Total war has a decent modding community.Yes it started out terrible but it's pretty solid now however I'd recommend Shogun 2 or Attila. More fun to play imo Shogun 2 is great, the in game landscapes are nice, the player objectives are fun, and the units have a great variety. 2726

Serious / Re: Why so few Christians among the refugees« on: May 19, 2016, 03:42:16 PM »Yeah that'd be the Christians from Hasakah and Qamishli currently held by the SDF which is made up of Arabs, mostly Kurds, Christians and basically anyone who the US deems isn't a jihadist. They're actually not in great relations with the Peshmerga because the KRG in Iraq is essentially a puppet of Turkey and Erdogan doesn't differentiate between Syrian and Turkish Kurds he thinks they're all PKK so he has currently imposed an embargo on them from the borders of Turkey and the KRG does it on his behalf with the Iraqi border.Other than Hasakah and Aleppo most of the Christian areas in Syria have remained relatively conflict free.Really? I wasn't aware, I'd assumed they were clustered in the Kurdish reasons since the Christian militias I'm a fan of tend to ally themselves with the Peshmerga. |
