So in my latest playthrough I killed Ulrich and Runt and honestly it wasnt very enjoyable, the only way I managed it was by using cheap tactics like running away and spamming arrows as soon as I could turn around. I thought I was just shit at the game but most people online seem to be doing the same.
It's like perfect parries and blocks mean nothing in this game because even if your defence is strong you can't ever throw your enemy off guard, Ive read somewhere that the "boss" like knights have unlimited stamina and other buffs. Whats the point of sword combos if you can't break your enemies guard, might as well fight a wall.

The mechanics in the game that are meant to be more immersive and realistic quickly become annoying. There's nothing innovative about NPCs leaving a spot during a quest because you failed to show up at the time right time(I'm sorry I found something interesting in the distance) most of the time it doesn't even change the course of the game you just get a cutscene where the NPC you were dealing with seems annoyed and that's that. Muh immersion
Archery is a load of bs too. I had to change the DPI on my mouse to the lowest to hit accurately and each type of arrow has a different level of performance which is just overkill, it's just a wooden shaft with feathers ffs
