i'l trash ANY game that i see that i don't like--doesn't have to be a sports game

kinda how opinions work, guys--not everyone's gonna like what you do

I don't like mass effect, but I'm not gonna laugh at it and make fun of it. I dislike something without calling it garbage and stupid....

Totally a gun problem
I don't think anyone is saying this was just a gun problem. People are saying that the easy and legal access to firearms doesn't exactly help this stuff.
Why not?

I can buy a gun illegally in about 1 hour.

Takes me 4 months to get one (less powerful) legally.

Go ahead and ban all guns. It won't stop anything.
Seeing how the longest state-level mandatory waiting period in any state is 14 days (Hawaii) and 40 out of the 50 states have no waiting period at all, I'm kind of doubting it would take you over 4 months to get a gun unless you're somehow in a special situation or won't put in the effort to take a relatively short drive somewhere else.

And no one is suggesting that all guns should be banned. The point is, and this really is completely irrefutable at this point, that the legal gun market and easy lawful access to guns fuels the illegal trade of firearms and makes it easier for someone to get their hands on an illegal firearm. That is an undeniable fact, no matter where you stand on this issue. Partially thanks to the NRA-sponsored ban on CDC and NHI research on gun violence, there's a lot we don't know about gun violence in the US. But this, no one in the right mind can argue with.

That includes getting a gun buying permit, since I currently don't have one (my old one only lasted a year). So all the paperwork, it takes upwards of 4 months.

So what do you suggest? Make it harder to buy a gun? Thats fine, I'll just drive 20 minutes and get one illegally. Really not a big deal, especially if you plan on doing something criminally with the gun like all these mass shooters do.

Love how salty nerds get over sports games being shown. It's not catered specifically to you, they don't care. They have a team dedicated to sports games so of course they're going to show it.

And I don't even like sports games.

Exactly. I'm not gonna sit here and trash Mass effect or Titanfall because I don't play them. Don't understand why people feel the need to trash sports games.

Is Madden, like, the most popular sports game or something?

FIFA is

So why is there so much focus on Madden every year? I feel like no one cares, even by sports video game fan standards.

Just because their sales aren't that great. The hardcore madden players buy it every year, but other than that not many people do.

But with FIFA, soccer just has more worldwide fans. So obviously the sales are much higher.

Plus, this year they have a new commentator team, so they'll push that alot.

“YES, these women do indeed exist primarily as toys to fulfill your personal sexual fantasy”.

Yes, I know they exist. All you have to do is hit up the mall on a saturday afternoon and look at what the women are wearing. If they don't have respect for themselves, why should I respect them at all? yes, most women are just sexual play things.
