Point is, if people don't intelligently choose a degree, they shouldn't be surprised when they're jobless in the future. And the government shouldn't be helping out people who can't bother to do that.
This is about people who can't afford to go to school in the first place.
I'm sure there are already ways of acquiring financial assistance.
of course. But the people who qualify for free community college probably don't know how to go about getting such assistance.

If they can't even apply for financial aid correctly, why are we wasting tax paper money on college courses that they will fail....

Republicans are toxic LOL

Yet democrats still can't figure out how to get their heads out of their asses when dealing with finances.

Oh no someone has a different opinion than me.

Opinions can be subjectively wrong.

Just because you say "it's my opinion" does not shield you from criticism if it is stupid.

I agree.

But it should shield you from having your post changed by a nazi mod.

Football abilities are valued because not everyone can go out on the field and throw accurately 40 yards downfield.

Any asshole can get good grades.

Sprint and AA's are all forced.

The callouts are stupid. The power weapon timer eliminates an element of skill.

In all reality is there any chance at all this will get passed?
Absolutely not. Republicans would never let something beneficial like this pass either the House or Senate.

We can't even get them in on a jobs bill for veterans they created.

Beneficial LOL

Increasing taxes and further decreasing the value of a college degree. Great plan Obama.

Although I do applaud him for addressing those horrendous calls in last Sunday's Dallas-Detroit game.

So dumb.

Will I buy it? Most likely.

Not going to preorder ever again because of H4 and MCC.

Oh great more things I have to pay for!!!

'

Says the child who doesn't pay taxes yet.

Hey, if you want 50% of your hard earned money going towards low lifes, go ahead. But me, I want most of my money. At least 90%.
how can you say that in good faith? that's a horrible way of thinking about taxes. you think people who benefit from taxes are all low lives? you use that tax money just as much as anyone else in this country. that's a distinctly elitist and snobbish stance.

Obviously not all are low lifes.

But if you have lived where I have lived, been to unemployment lines and welfare centers and you realize that 90% of people relying on government assistance (under 65) are NOT working to better themselves.

Free college? Thats a great idea in theory. But when it takes away from my money, and takes food out of my children's mouths, theres a problem. I already pay entirely too much for taxes.

Considering you just spent 7k on baseball tickets, I doubt your children are losing food.

That was an expression.

But that is actually a good point. If I'm being taxed even more, I probably wouldnt be able to afford those tickets.

Max I'm not really bragging at all.

I just bought a new truck for 40k and a new pool for 20k. Those both cost much more and I didn't write about them.

Also I know guys. The Phillies suck right now
