Nothing wrong with campaign communities. In fact, if they wanted sprint, I would be happy and hope they got it. As for forge. I'm on the fence. Its a very useful tool, but it seems like developer made maps have gone very downhill since forge was included in game. 3851

Gaming / Re: OFFICIAL Changes Made to Halo 5 Based on the Beta« on: February 05, 2015, 05:19:06 PM »People didn't like sprint previously because it turned the game into a case of "chase your enemy around the map". It isn't like that in Halo 5. It's merely a way of traversing the map quickly, the whole shield connection thing makes it useless as an escape tool. There's really no problem with it in Halo 5, 343i have implemented it very well. If you have to nerf something into oblivion just to have it semi-tolerable, there is no reason to have it at all. We all know the only reason it was added was to try and appeal to the COD crowd. 3855

No, the competitive community wants their settings close to vanilla so we can grow our viewers and community.
Sprint is terrible. All you clowns are defending it but you can't give me any reasons why it should be in the game. Go ahead give me some reasons. 3859
Gaming / Re: OFFICIAL Changes Made to Halo 5 Based on the Beta« on: February 05, 2015, 03:44:10 PM »>Sprint is togleable Yep because we are being blatantly lied to and 343 won't swallow their pride. Give me a few good reasons why sprint is good for halo. I gotta go to walmart, but when I get back I'll easily refute every point anyone makes. 3860

If Sprint is so widely regarded as being detrimental to Halo, then why do people want it in custom tournaments where they now have the ability to change that shit?Let me get this straight. Your primary method of fun on Halo is in BTB on BTB.net's Tournaments and gamedays. If sprint is now toggleable, you'll never have to deal with it again because you're operating primarily in BTB.http://btb.net/wutHow is BTB a bad thing again? It doens't even concern what you like about Halo. But they don't want Sprint, and they cry for classic Halo gameplay. So how are they casual again? I care and the competitive community all cares. We want tournament settings to be as close as possible to the vanilla matchmaking settings. Ex: LoL and Cod. 3861

Why change something that doesn't need to be changed? What exactly was wrong with Halo 2-3? Just make great maps, upgrade graphics, ect and it would sell great. 3865

Gaming / Re: OFFICIAL Changes Made to Halo 5 Based on the Beta« on: February 05, 2015, 03:05:16 PM »No, the thing that makes them idiotic is how casual they are and despite them being casuals, even they can see why Sprint is horrible. That logic doesn't make much sense. If the Waypoint community is so credible that it should be 343i's primary method of feedback, then why is it regarded as a cesspool of idiocy? And why aren't you posting there with all your "brethren" if the majority of them share your mindset? 3869

And even the non-competitive folk can see why sprint needs to be removed. 3870
