Oh I would take my own advice. If I lived in Cali and this bill passed, my house would immediately be on the market. I'd be out of there ASAP.
Mandatory Vaccines =/= Freedom

lol fucking California.
Getting closer and closer to 1984 level of government control.
Of course you don't like it. You're one of the fucks who is part of the problem.
Because I believe in freedom of the body? The government should have zero authority in saying you MUST put something inside your body. That just seems crazy to me. And if you deny my child entrance to the public schools that I pay for? You're not getting my tax dollars.

I don't understand how this works
You sign up now. And then in 2 weeks when the teams are seeded, you fill out your bracket and pick the winner.

http://games.espn.go.com/tournament-challenge-bracket/2015/en/group?groupID=643397The NCAA tournament starts in about 2 1/2 weeks. I want to start sign ups now so we can get as many people as possible. Winner will receive a prize. Not sure what yet, but will be at least $20 minimum. Probably an XBL or PSN card. But I'm open to suggestions. Its free to sign up and the Password is Cheat. I'll be bumping this thread every few days to try and get more people to join and when the teams are announced, I'll bump to make sure everyone fills out their bracket. Remember: This is 90% Luck so I encourage anyone and everyone to fill out a bracket. Happy March!

I usually hate anime, but it's great to have a lot of episodes for one I actually like.
Thats how I am. I usually can't stand watching anime for more than 5-10 minutes. But FMA is just on another level. Not just a great anime, but a great all time TV show.

Does every kind of scandal need a "gate" at the end of it?
Spygate
Deflategate
Gamergate
We get it, watergate happened. Shut up already.
Exactly. And the place was called Watergate. Not watergate-gate. and It wasn't named water. Its stupid how they add gate on everything these days.

Not everyone is going to be a doctor and try to find the cure for cancer. People have different skills. And everyone can do something useful with those skills. Right now, I would argue that what I'm doing right now, arguing, that's a skill that I have, and I'm putting it to use through talking to people over the Internet. That's the tiny little difference that I'm trying to make with that particular skill. And that little skill alone is more productive than all the Superbowls and all the World Series combined.
Is debate an important trait? Yes. So yes you do have a useful skill. You're internet arguing is more productive than SuperBowls and World Series' ever? Lol no chance. Because I'd argue those 2 things accomplish far more than you arguing on the internet. Its not just about the trophy or the money. Its about the experiences. Without sports, many people wouldn't get an education. Me personally, the superbowl's and world series' have allowed me to travel all over the USA to places where I otherwise wouldnt. I've gained friends just from going to SuperBowls. I've bonded in priceless ways with my father and other family members because of these sporting events. All of these benefits.

What did we gain? Well we had entertainment.
But what did the Pats and the NFL gain? Billions of dollars. For a useless game that accomplishes nothing of substance. Entertainment is worth nothing. We have enough fucking mindless entertainments already. And if one form of entertainment involves the physical extortion of efforts, all for a frivolous game, it's not worth it. It's not worth it at all.
Its not just a game and Its absolutely worth it. Not everyone is going to be a doctor and try to find the cure for cancer. People have different skills.

How about building youself for YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS and then at the end there are 1000's of losers.
Its called the education system and job market.
Its not broken. And the only people who think that its broken, are the people who didn't work hard enough. The losers.
My whole point is that there should be no winners OR losers. The entire concept of having a "winner" and a "loser" is fucktarded, unless there is no real cost involved. And with sports, the costs involved are absolutely extortionate in practically every single facet. Human suffering and cash money. Sports accomplish nothing in return. What did we gain when the Patriots won the Superbowl? The cure for cancer? The panacea for all life's troubles? No. It accomplished jackshit.
What did we gain? Well we had entertainment. But what did the Pats and the NFL gain? Billions of dollars. Every player knows what the risks are. And every player knows how tough it is to make it to the pros. Even to college. But imo its 100% worth it.

Yep. Okay. Beating the shit out of each other is part of the game on ice. Having actual deaths on the ice is about the sport. Look at the sense it makes. Yes there's contact.
But no, beating the shit out of each other on the ice is not part of the sport, because if it was, THEN WHY BOTHER WEARING PADDING AT THAT POINT.
And steroids? Well fuck, if it's all about the money then the competition obviosuly just fucked itself down the drain didn't it?
I honestly can't wrap my head around this shit. It doesn't make sense. There's competition. It's a natural thing. You compete, do your best, and then whatever the outcome, that's that. Sports these days endorse the wrong kind of competition, and if you want proof of that, look at the riots. Look at the drug abuse. Look at deaths on the field and unnecessary violence.
That's called stupid competion. It's unhealthy. Anything that results in that much pain, that much injury, and overall that much hassle, is stupid competition.
You can have competition without being a gladiator. Which is honestly what most sports these days seem like with half the players on the field out to beat the shit out of each other or maim one another.
May as well just drop the act and say fuck it.
We're still too stupid to have any semblance of normal, functioning people. Fuck it. To the death gladiator arenas. Stop beating around the bush and saying it's a mans sport and it's competitive when true competition is, as challenger puts it, win at any cost.
How about survive at any cost.
Tell ya what PSU.
Do something revolutionary. Clean up all these shitty sports and do something manly instead. Make a push for to the death gladitorial arenas.
Fighting in hockey is to defend your superstar players. To raise team morale and provide a boost. You can't just take shit, you have to stand up for yourself and your teammates in hockey. As for the drug abuse and injuries, thats all for the money. But that is part of any job. You could work in a coal mine or work as a bomb technician, theres risks but you are also paid for taking those risks. And like I said above, I would love to see gladiator matches these days. Have death row inmates fight to the death. I'd watch that shit any day of the week.

Any system where it's your job to build yourself, build yourself, build yourself for months and months and months, training hard, straining yourself, risking serious injury, only to play in a competition where hundreds of players enter, and lose, WASTING all that heart and effort, is a broken system. For every winner, there are a hundred losers. And each one of those losers went through a fuck of a lot to win, and they lost. If you think think that's something that should continue, you're just a fucking moron. You're just too fucking stupid for words.
How about building youself for YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS and then at the end there are 1000's of losers. Its called the education system and job market. Its not broken. And the only people who think that its broken, are the people who didn't work hard enough. The losers.
