Not raise him to be that person in the first place.
If you forced my hand, I'd probably just let him go, and allow him to give himself a little life lesson. He's sixteen. Let him get fucked up, let him get hung over, let him go crazy--then when he comes home all sick, I'll ask him if he learned anything.
Solid answer. Nothing really stops him from doing this again tho. Everyone has been hungover, yet people still drink all the time.
