Ok I kno I will get so many downfargoths I actuallly mantle fargoth. But hear me out.
I kno hardcore gay mers appreciate next gen features like animu mods and cool minigames like 3d rotating loading screen models that you can spin for hours. Maybe morrowand doesn't have that stuff, but i see games as a form of storytelling and i really like the story.
for instance morrowand has cpol characters like vivec and rolly the guar. and it has immersive stuff like equipping different pauldrons on each shoulder and fiesty dunmer women that say things like "die fetcher" and "STOOPID". and there's this club in seran[a] owned by a BRETON (my favorite race) where you can see nekkid action figures dance. and the telvanni have cool furries who strip for you in cages.
i'm not saying i don't like skairam. i LOVE skriam. but there's something about mirrowand that made me fall in love with it when i was 12 and i still love it.

Besides lots of agressive predators and poisonous fluids and fauna, there are inteligent predators lurking everywhere in Black Marsh. Particulary threatening is a three meter high type of argonians called Naga. Described as having "huge mouths filled with dripping needle-like fangs", they can be considered the ultimate predator.
Except for division by species (which is not always the case) different argonian tribes belong to different sub cultures and regions, effectively living in lots of small tries and few big cities. What they all share though, is the language of "Saxhleel", also named Jel. Jel is a complicated, but simple language. It has no sense of time and is described as a language most comparable to pure thought. As a language full of hissing and difficult noises, it is believed that a nonargonian can't grasp it, let alone learn it.
The Hist created argonians to do their bidding. However, since the services are not needed in big number nor too often, argonians are left to their own devices and allowed to do whatever they want. An outsider, if (un)lucky enough for the Marsh to put him into a such situation, can be transformed into an argonian. Anyone can become one.
The Hist, knowing of Dagon's planned invasion in the time of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, has issued a mental call to all argonians on Tamriel to return into the Black Marsh (alternatively known as Argonia). Most have complied. Upon arival, they were linked into a hivemind and strengthended through Hist sap.
What resulted from this was utter defeat and humuliation of Dagon's forces. As Oblivion gates opened, bloodthirsty Argonians rushed the gates, killing all daedra and inviding the planes of Oblivion. Soon Dagon had to close his portals in Black Marsh so that he may not be defeated in his own realm.
Arising at the same time was An-Xileel, a xenophobic and nationalistic, as well as religious political fraction.
Following the retreat of Merhunes Dagon from Black Marsh, An-Xileel secceeded from the empire which was in no state to force Argonia under their rule. While the empire continued to weaken, Argonians organised a war.
Even though Dunmer only raided the fringe of Black Marsh for slaves, where only Argonian undesirables and pariahs lived and even though most of the slaves acquired were actually bought from Argonians themselves in an attempt to get rid of undesirables, Argonians decided to retaliate for the slavery. In the coming war, argonians slaughtered everything on their way north. The invasion was stopped by Redoran army only after the sacking of Morrowind's capital, Mournhold. Even though Morrowind pushed the invaders south, they never reclaimed the southern parts of its country. Tear, a city sacred to Dunmer stayed in Black marsh for over a hundred years and it is unknown if it'll ever be reclaimed. Another notable casualty was Great House Dres, which lost most of its members, land and power.
Lastly, to round this whole thing up, lets end with a basic fact - Argonian, Saxhleel in their original tongue, means "People of the Root"
