I can't stay to argue because my wife should be back from her errand soon and I promised to watch a movie with her, but this is one of the studies I'm referring to.

Before I even look at your study, let me take a look at the "About Us" page for the website you linked.

Marriage
We believe that marriage was intended by God to be a life-long relationship between one man and one woman.  Such marriages best promote the nurturing and equipping of children and provide the foundation for a healthy, enduring society.

So, I'm curious as to how these study is non-biased, scientific, and reputable.

Is it anti-scientific to ignore the needs of a child to have two parents of both genders?
It's anti-scientific to posit that. The consensus is that homosexual parents are equally capable.
I've seen studies that actually argue the opposite.

I'd love to see these 'studies'

Is it anti-scientific to ignore the needs of a child to have two parents of both genders?

Does this question equally apply to single parents?

Does it encroach upon religious freedom to force churches to marry gays?

Nope. None of the laws, to my understanding, explicitly require all churches to perform the ceremonies - it allows churches who wish to, and government offices, to do so.

Can we really redefine marriage without it losing its merit?

Marriage used to be, and in some places of the world continues to be, a simple economic transaction. You give me four cows, and you can marry my daughter.

Marriage has been redefined through the ages. This change is no different.

I don't even know what post it was that got me banned, further I was not informed that the rules had changed when I got banned. I didn't even get a warning. Moreover, who the fuck are you to excuse people over what counts as a joke and what doesn't?

Take that up with one of the mods through a private message - not spamming the forums.

Thanks, have a great night.

Keep in mind this thread was made after the rules were changed. Go to the third and you can even see Icy saying that Nuka isn't affected by these rules.

From the rules...

Quote
    - Personal attacks, including in public forums and private messages, will not be taken lightly and are subject to punishment. Joking with sayings like "fgt" are acceptable, as long as it does not become excessive.

I did not excuse Nuka's thread because I am biased to him - the fact is, his thread is a joke thread. He is calling people "stupid because you're purple" and shit like that - the same way RC will call people a fgt.

You have made it your mission to go around these forums and act like a five year old because we did something you did not like. I'm sorry, but this is not Anarchy - there are rules that needed fixing, so we updated them, and will continue to update them. That is the simple fact - if you don't like it, you can either help us fix it by constructively pointing out problems, or continue to cause problems and risk a ban.

That's up to you.

That should be clarified.

The rule has been clarified.

Make the Anarchy forum come up more often, maybe every weekend and every single issue can be discussed there.

The staff will continue looking at Anarchy and what changes will be made.

What I'm getting from this is that something innocent like calling someone a "fgt" is now against the rules. What the frack?

There is a bit of leeway, but yes. Tone it down a bit.
That isn't even "tone up." Something like that, especially if it's obviously in jest, is entirely fracking innocent. This rule honestly brings this site closer to Deej's bullshit.

LAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEee

We gave this forum relaxed rules for quite some time, and it was abused and lead to a ton of drama amongst numerous users. As we said, there is a bit of leeway to it - if we can tell you are joking, you won't get in trouble.

It's as simply as that.

Is the first rule about alts retroactive? We have the user DeeJ for example who now may find himself banned, or maybe one of my alts which is a reference to a Bungie culture character. What about these?

The Staff will be discussing this and deciding on alts already created. Future alts will not be approved.

I'm on moderation status which means my threads have to be approved so you can't get mad at me for what the mods consider appropriate.

Cheat never responded to my PM by the way so you can quit constantly repeating that.

You are on moderation status due to the nature of threads you made while warned. Simple as that. It will last a couple days, and then you will go back to regular posting abilities.

Cheat is busy at the moment - he isn't available 100% of the time. Is there something I can help with?
ALSO I was never in warned but not moderated status. I just went straight to moderated.

You were in moderated status this morning, before being moved back to warned. You went back to moderated with your thread that "didn't call out anyone in particular", while doing exactly that.

It's done with. Live with moderation for two days.
I won't have to.

Then that is your choice. If you have any other concerns, message a member of the staff.

It's like you're asking to be banned.
Yeah I don't give a damn at this point.
Don't get kicked from the site, man. I want you here.

It doesn't matter what I do anymore. The bias is already there.

This is literally the exact same thing that happened on Bnet. The moderators basically treat everyone who they don't know well enough like children and anyone who even THINKS about trying to make a change is ignored.

We are open to making changes the community wants - however, going around and spamming threads demanding that a moderator is removed, or calling transsexual users a gender they have stated they are not, is not acceptable whatsoever - in any organized and civil website community.

If you have any reasonable suggestions, feel free to message one of us privately, or share in the thread Cheat posted in the News Forum about the changing rules.

Actually, what will be our stance with software hacks, and piracy of software, anime and music?

No links to torrents, pirated content, etc. No links to malicious software i.e. viruses etc. Discussing is one thing, sharing links to download is another.

I am not talking about creating a +18 forum, I am talking about implementing a new paragraph in the agreement— a section in it, that mentions that those who register are of mature age in their country.

That isn't the sole problem that we are apprehensive about implementing such a forum. Namely, it would split the population of the forum, create more problems, and it would be extremely hard to moderate.

It isn't going to happen. The age requirement is staying at 13 for the time being.

You're misinterpreting what I said, by +18 section, I mean a +18 section in the agreement when registering to ensure that people who view and submit adult content are +18, so the forum is not blamed for anyone who is underage looking at NSFW stuff.

That isn't the sole problem that we are apprehensive about implementing such a forum. Namely, it would split the population of the forum, create more problems, and it would be extremely hard to moderate.

My second suggestion is that you should strip Kiyo of mod status. A majority of your users believe it should happen.

Cheat has spoken on this subject. Kiyo is remaining a mod. End of story.

Cheat, man... I don't know. All we need is the ability to mute mods. They can still ban us. They're still mods, but at least we (I) won't get banned for arguing with them.

Cheat has already addressed this in at least one thread - you are not getting the ability to mute mods, as it hinders our abilities. If you are that against communicating with someone, simply ignore their posts. End of story.

Also a special section for 18+ content for legal reasons at the registration agreement.

Thank you for your suggestion.
