Hey everyone! We've just added some brand new Machinima controls into Halo 5. To find these settings, go to Custom Games -> Select a game type -> Settings -> Machinima Control [ON]
Here are how the custom controls work (default control setting):
- Lower Weapon: Hold X and D-pad down for two seconds
- Detach camera in gameplay: Hold X and D-pad up for two seconds
- Toggle camera control mode when detached (Normal and Pan): Hold X and press d-pad left
- Toggle between Spartan and camera control when detached: Press View button
- Display Spartan/camera position coordinates: Hold X and press d-pad right
We hope you enjoy, and look forward to your feedback! This update has also been added to the patch notes.

Great, for the small amount of the population that creates machinimas and videos that require this tool. But for most of us, it's pointless.
I don't expect options until February, which is just pretty damn sad from them.
Is there any rationale behind February or are you just being salty?
Because I have little to no faith in 343 to capitalize on potential holiday players and get more options out next month?
Again, it's amazing that we are in 2015 and are shipping with less options for playing the game than we did in 2007, 2010, and 2012.
It's pretty much industry wide, and a damn shame. But as long as we get that good frame rate.
Okay, but how does that feed into you deciding on February? Because I don't really see how that answers my question.
Well, if I don't foresee them adding it next month...February would be the next potential month to add them?

If no candidate arrives to the GOP convention with the support of 1,237 delegates (half of the total) and satisfying the current Rule 40 (earning a majority of delegate support from at least eight states), the contest becomes contested, with the candidates closest vying to win delegates who have yet to pledge support. If, after the first vote, a candidate is chosen, then it is classified as contested. If it goes to a second, third or more vote, it is a brokered convention - and becomes more complicated. Once it reaches a second vote, and is classified as brokered, all delegates are allowed to vote for any candidate on the ballot - they aren't tied down to who they initially supported.
