Yup, that is exactly what happened

What did he do?

All I did was post some speeches about socialism 🤔😂👌

[In the Bumper Book of Communism Thread]
Quote from: Juan Camaney
Great speeches about the unification of all classes. True socialism

Quote from: Juan Camaney
National socialists and communists used to walk side by side. What happened?

I should probably mention at this point that offending posts don't get removed or censored like the Sep7agon Secondclass Premium Memberships (R) do, unless a mod manually does it themselves.

Nor do accounts get wiped, just access to them removed.

Sapphire, no craic.

Sep7agon, craic central. You could almost say we're craic addicts.

Spoiler
And if this gets me Rule 6'd then by golly, it proves my point.

That and they boot out old users

"Look at our most popular game ever this year! And look, everyone's happy on our official forums, even offtopic!"

"Criticisms of the game? Only that we have none from our loyal fanbase*! :D"
*that have bought Destiny 3 GOTY-NODLC Limited Edition
-Activision, Bungie.

"You sure everything's okay, Bungie?"
-"Haha yeah don't worry about it just play our next DLC haha it's going to be great BECOME LEGEND haha"
(screams of constructive criticism and banned veteran forum members are heard faintly behind the door)

Should have Sep7, Sapph, all the other offsites, and the remnants of The Flood/#Offtopic bursting out the sides.

Why would I want to join a shitty place that would ban me just for disagreeing with people? No thanks.
no one gets banned just for disagreeing. people get banned for being assholes and arguing in bad faith ad infinitum.

Wrong. I got banned for stating an opinion the collective didn't like.

Since I realised it pissed everyone off afterwards I decided to leave the situation rather than argue about it (and piss off everyone further), I got two weeks for my trouble.

Then there was Tevis and Beb for some irl reason that bled back to the forum, and Davos because he was contrarian to the majority.
[Whining at the facts]

Woah man, no need to be feisty. Tevis and Beb clearly had some disagreement because one isn't around anymore, and the other seems fairly quiet these days. I know not why exactly they got banned but it was something disagreeable that management didn't like.

Davos was the only person I saw who argued with the backing of some article or facts, only to get punned or gangblasted out because it wasn't what everyone else believed. No mention of whether the facts were right or wrong, mind you.

And finally, I couldn't care less about the ban, it's not like it refutes your claim at all. And all the board warnings, emails and otherwise that prove they just hate the place and anyone associated with here.

Not that any of that is surprising.
listen, dipshit, im telling you that the tevis/beb thing isnt relevant because i actually know what happened and you dont.

davos kicked shit up just for the sake of drama constantly. stop trying to act like he was actually there to be part of the community.

There's that friendly welcome I remember.

No need to be angry over the ignorant.

Snow Storm Emma just browsed through recently.

Apart from the snow and bitter cold that cleared up in 2 days, it's been alright.

They'd really ban someone for saying bitch? Sounds lame af.

Well the offensive word filter I'm fairly certain is manually created (or at the least heavily edited).

Occasionally I'll say some word, it'll get called out and then soon afterwards it's added to the censor list.

Seems that's what most do.

The Flood / Re: Have you ever cheated on a partner or been cheated on?
« on: March 03, 2018, 07:24:06 PM »
Never been the one to cheat or be cheated on, but I was the guilty party that enabled cheating for my now-gf. I eventually was the one to convince her to end the old relationship rather than drag it out further.

Even though the situation that it happened makes sense (the guy was a verbally abusive cunt that threatened suicides monthly to get attention for example, among a mountain of other things), it does make me a tad paranoid for our future together.

It has settled down with time and a growing love for each other, but I doubt it will ever just dissappear.

WHERE IS THE SZECHUAN SAUCE Mc-MORDY REEEE

346
wait is a tankie not someone who just really likes talking and learning about Main Battle Tanks

completely serious question I thought that was what it meant

I'm thinking along the lines of Chinese "communism". Authoritarianism, neo-colonialism, censoring of opinions, crushing of dissent, Tianamen Square Massacre, that sorta thing.

Oh and actually being capitalist anyway.
huh

where do you get "tank" from communism?

The way their economies tank?

Honestly, no clue.

Who's freaking out other than Deci?

I guess freaking out was the wrong term, but it did make me chuckle to roll in here and see a 60+ reply thread about us
Any time something new or relevant pops up it happens. Don't look into it too much, you're really not that special. These guys can make 5-10 page threads out of quite literally anything.

Case in point, "Everything I do on this website is for my post count" - 84 pages at 25 a page.

Or Saph's pinned General Thread - to date, 3550 pages, 25 a page.

Deci, sit down. I didn't read much further than the title but I can tell what this is.

As someone who browses both and as this thread as your evidence, no one gives a shit. You said so yourself before, we're both backwaters, not some megaforum.

EDIT; Realised I've missed a few days worth of "incursions" here, and the resultant shitflinging. What is this, Russian bots got too bored influencing public opinion and decided to sandbox two barely frequented offsites?

But getting them to unite as some form of "SepSaph7agonire" forum has about as much luck as Ireland uniting voluntarily. Both have different approaches to moderation, and really. really. different cliques. Shit flinging would be abundant, bans everywhere or nowhere depending on who ran the place...

...and it would be hilarious for all of 20 minutes or so.

I'd get that checked m80, testicular torsion can lose you a bollock if you aren't careful.

Serious / Re: So what is the actual deal with GMOs?
« on: March 03, 2018, 07:30:46 AM »
GMO's are like purple tomatoes, that increase the antioxidants in them (with a purple side effect). Instead of the long winded process of cross-breeding or selective breeding in animals (and in flowers), it's a quicker, more precise, and more difficult process to get the end result without waiting for generations of breeding which can cause other unseen problems (i.e. pug's breathing difficulties).

In 3rd World countries they're a tad more important because they started modifying strains of weather-resistant wheat to be more bountiful (or, it mught have been the other way around, not sure). This isn't a new development, as this was done in the 1980's and has been considered a success.

The only downside has been to sterilise the plants so they don't mix with native species or become an invasive one, which in turn makes 'em great to monopolise when the company owns the only batches of GM seeds.

Kurzgesagt did a fairly impartial take on them if you want more detail and some science backup; https://youtu.be/7TmcXYp8xu4

« on: March 02, 2018, 03:50:35 PM »
If you can build it, you can bear it.
I'm good with that, fam. Now everyone just walks around with homemade, smoothbore, full-auto, open bolt sub guns that they built with fifty dollars and a trip to Lowes after reading P. A. Luty's book.

Yup, nothing like the threat of your DIY gun killing you instead of the criminal to get the testicles pumping in a shootout.

The Flood / Re: Is the right to arm oneself a basic human right?
« on: March 02, 2018, 02:18:43 PM »
It's not a right, or at least it shouldn't be.

Maybe they should go back to a really round-about-way of bearing arms; If you can build it, you can bear it.

The Flood / Re: Why is "people of color" a term people are ok with?
« on: February 28, 2018, 06:13:21 AM »
Are we talking about Blacks, Native Americans, Aboriginees or Pacific Islanders/Polynesians?

You even hear funny stories about Black Brits going on holiday and being referred to as "African Americans", despite the accent.

Hell, I had a black person come to Primary School in Ireland telling us that the term coloured is wrong, and that Black is totally fine. I really don't know how that came to happen, or why it came up considering he must've been the only Black person within a 25 mile radius.

Also, what are the odds of Deci RP'ing again with this influx of new folk?

Not sure what you mean.

I meant you'd pretend to be a newbie here,  like you did with Darth Vader or the Foman alts whenever there was a new pool of people appearing.

Don't really care about Bungie beyond that.

Alright. I'll come clean.

Darth Vader is my alt. Foman however is legit not my alt. I don't know who's alt it is.

I don't really have the need to use an alt anymore. I've rather stopped caring what people think of me on here.

Seeing is believing my good man. Hope you stay around longer this time without raising your blood pressure or bursting a few veins.

Deus Ex 2 (post-original)

Battlefield Bad Company 3
Battlefield 1944/2143
(Any of these in the BF1 engine would be fuckin' sweet)

Destroy All Humans 3 (just ignore that Path of the Furon existed at all)

Crash Bandicoot NitroKart 2

Midnight Club 4 (Arguably the amount of customisation and racing modes in GTA V is enough to make up for it, but R* can do better than that)

Canis Canem Edit/Bully 2
