"I have friends in the IRA" - yep, sure mate.
People who often say seriously "This is clearly [something that is deffo not that]", and arrogant of the 'fact'. People who are easily convinced of things/do a complete U-turn without any evidence apart from someone contradicting them. 1415

Ductape and string is all I need for most problems.
Although bending the top of tin can into a spoon for the food inside was probably not my smartest idea recently. Worked fine functionally, if you didn't mind getting a Glasgow smile in the process. 1417
The Flood / Re: almost done with driver's ed« on: July 21, 2016, 09:29:54 AM »Verb, here's something that you can practice later when you get a little more used to driving. Most teachers and parents alike will usually tell you to put two hands on the steering wheel. 10 and 2 o'clock if I remember right. But that's all they tend to say. It's fine when you're a new driver and you're learning.well, this is how they taught me to steer: It's the only way they teach it in the UK, IIRC. Maybe it's down to an instructor's preference, but I've been told never to cross arms because it restricts your control (e.g. ypu want to go further left/right quickly, for whatever reason), and now learning about the airbag thing is just another reason (I haven't fully learnt to drive so it's never really occurred to me). But eh, drive how you like, so long as it's safe. Follow the instructor, then drive whatever you feel is the safest way when you pass, which is obviously by not getting in one. 1418

All I've learnt from watching my brother play is the first shot of the AK is on target, then it goes left-right in the next 2 shots...
...then you should aim at the floor and go full auto. That, and the bullshit AWP, is why I let my brother play. 1423

Sounds more like Brexiters put in places where they would put the most effort into their work.
E.g. Remainers in the positions for negotiations with the EU could sympathetically accept lesser deals, whilst Brexiters are negotiating purely with the UK in mind, and have had such ideas for quite a while. Sounds sorta selfish in some respects, but it's more beneficial for the UK and as already shown these last 3 weeks, politics can be cut-throat. 1434

Just think of it as the Total Recall Remake has become (ironically enough): Literally what?
It will fail at release, get mentioned on the news for about a week, maybe two if journalists and radical feminists put a sexism spin on its failure, and then it will vanish into the depths of budget DVD bins at Tesco/Walmart and be ultimately forgotten. Not a thing to get in a huge fuss over really. |
