You can understand someone without arguing with them.

Ironically, this post illustrates his point. Because you disagree with him and open yourself to argument he can tell what you stand for and understand you. It allows greater capacity for building some kind of relationship, whereas a non-confrontational person would remain silent and Verbatim would never know what kind of person they were and thus never really build any type of relationship with them.
For the sake of argument I'll play devil's advocate. Argumentation results in a particular type of understanding about other people, you observe more genuine expression from that person. With casual conversation or even heart-to-heart conversations it's easy to adapt to someone else's sentiment to preserve the mood of that conversation. With argumentation (especially heated argumentation), however, one typically expresses their sentiment to prove a point, not to necessarily retain a mood. Because you observe their sentiments without the bias of amicability you gain closer understanding of what they really value/think.

lmao what

god forbid someone is chill and non confrontational

learning about everyone's personality and values isn't as important as being able to comfortably post in your free time without the obligation to get into big internet arguments

they're a waste of energy, not everyone has the patience to set aside time to perpetuate a huge debate

I know his point, and I'm just saying that understanding someone and their values isn't as important as letting that someone enjoy their time posting on the forum. Not everyone likes to get into arguments or even make their values known to the public, and it's a dumb thing to hold against them.
Is this situation, is there a factual basis for substantiating opinion, or is this subjective?

He's just making all of his responses particularly "flavorful." What flavor, you may ask?
To which I would phrase another question
Does zyklon b have a flavor?

You're asking for a fight doing this.

OT: I'm curious to see how I've already displeased you.

I have no idea how penis comes to mind when people see BC's avatar.

Oh look another thread trend.

Do you want an opinion or nah
Eh sure w/e.

ftr an observation doesn't equate to criticism.
The tone established by the words, "oh look..." is commonly used disapprovingly in a criticizing way.

That constellation is Leo the lion.

First step, there's more then that

Your new around here, but you seem nice and I appreciate that. You always post something that helps with discussion
Hmmm your zodiac sign, then?

Nope
Unfortunately I'm not in the snapchat. Is it possible to reasonably ascertain its meaning given the information at my current disposal?

I'll give you a hint, I'm a big car guy. Take that and my avatar, and you can figure it out moderately easily
Oh, did you solve the puzzle in chapter 11?

In Uncharted? Which one is it
It's apparently in a clocktower and there's a car-chase scene after solving it.
Is it a new model of car you're thinking of purchasing?

Wait lol, are you asking how to solve it or if my avatar is related to it lmfao. Cause I know Leo is one of the signs in there.

And purchased*
Damn, I was close. I thought your avatar might have been related to the puzzle in-game, it was the first thing that appeared in google news.

What would you say is pure hatred?
you hate everything about them.
In that case, no, I harbor no pure hatred towards anyone on earth.

Old Fallouts are great, other than that, new games. I like fast paced stuff like Call of Duty and Just Cause
From what I've seen/heard of Uncharted you might enjoy it.
I'm not really a fan of most third person action/adventure singleplayer games, I just like Just Cause because you can literally fly around the map and shit
I convinced one of my friends to try assaulting a military installation with a bomber. It turns out Bavarium nukes are super effective against said bombers. Have you tried applying boostmines to cows?

I purchased some red hair dye about a week ago and I'm probably dyeing sometime this week. Besides that I've purchased ingredients for cooking. I can sympathize having one of those clunky Dell keyboards and I also prefer flat keys.

Nice!

Yeah, even the ibuypower stock keyboard this computer came with didn't have flat keys, and that sucked. Flat is just what I prefer, it makes typing easier.

I'm happy that this has the calculator button and This PC (my computer) button even, along with a button to launch Windows Media Player, and they all work on the fly. Seriously, none of my keyboards have that button. And the volume control buttons which is a very underrated feature, granted I have my speakers for that but I don't use my speakers all the time.
I don't like the feeling of having to press the keys down further, I type loudly enough already. The keyboard I'm using has a sound dial to adjust the volume and a section which activates my itunes library. If it had flat keys and a backlight it would be perfect.

There's still innovation with some new games, but because of the increasing popularity of gaming as an entertainment medium I feel as if its marketability is directly proportional to a safeguarding of proven formulas more than an emerging medium with room to explore, fail, and succeed. I feel as if older games had more liberty to explore new ideas, whereas new games predominantly appeal to proven successful ideas. Because of this, older games typically engage me more through higher concentrations of novel ideas or execution of those ideas. I don't really have any data to substantiate this claim more than personal experience, and I'm far from having representative sample sizes of "old" and "new" games for a detailed comparison.

Whats the difference between expensive alcohol and something for $20?
Tyrion Lannister would know the answer to that question.

Gaming / Re: Uncharted 4 is unreal, absolutely unreal

Fantastic visuals doesn't communicate anything about story or gameplay, and does not deserve a 9 based on visuals alone. It certainly seems to have a lot of critical acclaim, though. I'm waiting to see what fans have to say about it.

I beat the game, I completely forgot to put that in haha, I posted that when I was towards the end and just wanted to say how beautiful it is.

The entire game, gameplay story and visuals are absolutely incredible.
Oh, sorry I didn't see that. Are you planning on reviewing it? I don't have a ps4 but I'm building a list of titles I want to try out and the Uncharted series seems interesting.

I borrowed my cousin's PS4, well, he's staying at my apartment and he got an early copy so I beat it while he watched (It was clear early on I was better). I actually might buy a PS4K (or whatever it ends up being called) because of this game. I was that blown away. I never played Uncharted but I always said it was the only game I would get a PS3/4 for.

I might do a review, but I can't imagine it being unique from other major reviews. I literally don't have a single issue with the game. At all. I haven't played a game that made me buy into it this much since probably Mass Effect. What you see, the mystery and the journey feels so real. Yes there are moments that are so ridiculously over the top, but its part of the style.

There really are moments, and scenes that I genuinely was in awe of what I was seeing. I have no idea how they managed to pull this off on a console. I have no idea how they managed to keep every line of dialogue and every area so...real.

I thought the 10/10 reviews were just fluff because it was the last game, but I really believe those scores are just.
You have the advantage of giving us one of the first fan-made reviews probably, and they can be just as important as professionally critical reviews. It's pretty neat having someone on the forum to communicate their experience this early.
