It's not supposed to be shallow as fuck Skyrim you pleb. If you're not into it you're not into it. Simple. Don't make it something it's not, because no, I doubt there is a real mod for that.
I prefer close range in RPGs. Dunno why.
Then play with close range weapons, silly! Although to be fair melee weapons are a lot better in NV than 3... There's more variety

The thing is I LOVE shooters, I just can't get into fallout. the mechanics for shooting feel...weird.
The guns are very clunky, which is very noticeable if you play FPS's
For example you'd expect to be able to tap fire automatic weapons but theres a weird delay.

You need VATS in Fallout on consoles because it's so clunky, but on PC it's fine.
trufax I played through Fallout 3 and NV a ton on consoles, and vats was practically needed if you wanted to hit anything, but on PC it's a lot better >.>

Steam Workshop's terrible for mods, Nexus has way better ones and the mod manager is so useful yes i know you dont like mods but if you did nexus is a way better place to get them

I don't want to sound mean, cuz the trailer is cool, but could someone actually explain to me how Fallout is appealing? I want to get into it. I REALLY want to, but I just can't really do it and I want a reason to play it.
The modern ones, I assume? Decent shooter mechanics with the fun addition of limb damage and a sort of turn-based strategy where you can freeze events for a period of time to aim or set up a set of shots, similar to Red Dead Redemption. It has a really unique environment and atmosphere, as well as a compelling backstory.
I don't like the gunplay, is the thing. I have about 9~ hours in Fallout 3 and I just...couldn't get into it. That's over a few saves, too.

It's an FPS. If you don't like shooters, or it's particular style, you're not going to like Fallout.

There's probably plenty of mods out there that completely redo the shooting mechanics if you want to get into it that way

Because of the biological differences in men and women. I think you guys are forgetting that it's not solely gender differences that cause dysphoria, but the biological differences too. Removing gender may make it easier, but it still doesn't remove the fact that women and men are biologically different, and this causes dysphoria because they feel they're stuck in the wrong body, transitioning makes this easier by making them match their preferred sex as closely as possible. Since it's not actually possible to change your sex, changing your gender is the closest that you can get.

I've only flown coast to coast here in the states.
I flew from Hong Kong back to Auckland here in NZ, I just find it impossible to sleep on a plane and I didn't get any sleep the next night either
