Like shit, I've been holding out for Fallout 4 for months, I didn't buy a single game prior (because they all look meh) and just modded the fuck out of FO3 and NV to keep my occupied. OP is gunna feel remorse for this in a week
Pretty much this. I'm at that stage now though where nothing appeals to me because it's literally right around the corner. Same feeling I had for MGS V. I HAVE games I can enjoy, but they just don't appeal to me because of me waiting for FO4.

Also, that gives them a really convenient way to ignore the ending to ME3. Colony ships left before the invasion? No way to find out what happened. Effectively, nothing in ME3 should affect the story.
