You wanted a war movie, not something historical.
Yeah, but Waterloo is a war movie, just not about a modern war. Enemy at the Gates is also a war movie and historical.

Downloading Far Harbour now.
A little apprehensive about the story because of the Children of Atom (kill me) focus but gameplay-wise it looks decent.
I too am against the use of the Children of Atom. What started off as a small cult of bomb worshippers in Megaton has turned into a far too serious and militant faction in the course of 10 years. I also don't understand how they got all the way to Maine. It's as if Bethesda was too lazy to create another faction, which would have been better. Then again, it is Bethesda.

I know you are asking for books, but I would recommend watching videos done by The Vaults of Terra as well. If you haven't heard of them, they have made many series on 40k's lore, their largest being on the Imperium of Man. I feel it is a great starting point and I have learned a lot about 40k from them. 1. I don't really have a favorite band or musician. However there are several composers I like. These include Vangelis, Tchaikovsky, Gustav Holst, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Tim Follin. 2. I kind of like Immanuel Kant and Voltaire. 3. This one is difficult for me to answer, as I admire many people. As far as military figures go, I like Francis C. Barlow and Frederick the Great, and the person in my avatar, Eleonore Prochaska. Other people include Carl Sagan, Theodore Roosevelt, and Albert Einstein.
