No. For what happened and what was available, it went better than expected.
It could have been handled much better. I remember the day it happened, when the meltdown started they became desperate and threw seawater on the reactors, of course some of the water evaporated leaving everything to be covered and corroded by salt. Much of the sea water that was used also went straight into the ground, loaded with radiation. Even years after the meltdown radiation was still leaking into the sea and ground even though it was denied by the corporation.

Not sure about that.. Seen some sites I can get nice prescription sunglasses for less than $100.. But contact lenses.. don't they run anywhere from $20+ more and you have to buy several throughout the year?

I use monthly contacts which means I need to replace them every month. I bought enough for 6 months, so 6 for each eye. That was about $150, you'll also have to schedule an appointment which will cost money. There are other kinds of contacts such as daily disposable contacts but in the long run they usually cost the same.
I have my lastest eye prescription on paper.. or are contacts different?
You need a separate prescription for contacts, they have to get dimensions of your eye and stuff.
Glasses prescription and contact prescriptions are two different things.
Sounds like in the short or long run, prescription sunglasses would be cheaper then. Of course the sunglasses would only be good up to two years, since that is usually how often I change them.
Your choice
Though it's nice buying any sunglasses I want and being able to wear them. I have some expensive and some cheap, with contacts it's much less of a hassle. I can also change my eye color with contacts.
That eye changing perk does sound like a hoot, can't deny that. I'd do something crazy looking.
Yes there are also types of contacts that you can keep in for months or years at a time without having to take them out.
