When you're hunting prey you're supposed to go for the neck or heart. If you cut the stomach or intestines and let the bacteria taint the meat then its all over.

Uh the fuck is The Little Mermaid? Don't give me that 1989 bullshit either, it started the Disney Renaissance.
And the Jungle Book is shit and not even from the 90's fuck you
Must have misread something on Wikipedia. And 1989 is not 1990.

Wasn't there a point in time when both president and congress kept saying no to each other and literally nothing got done?
You mean the last 70 years

What I'm saying is that your checks and balances are retardedly unbalanced and that Congress is not held accountable for anything.
The President keeps congress in line with the power to veto. The President can also issue Executive Orders which can go into effect via the Judicial Branch. I'd say our 3 branches of government are pretty balanced. However, congress needs to enact some policies such as term limits.
And isn't congress nearly all exclusively business men? There's like no engineers, enviromentalists or full-time politicians as far as I know. I get the whole 3 pillars thing but it's drilled into us here that because of this systemy ou have, you can't shift the blame onto any one area because they can keep juggling responsibilities.
Lobbyism has corrupted congress and until it's outlawed there's not much we can do. I don't know why you would want an engineer as a senator. They have scientists and environmentalists at their disposal.
I used it as an example. ofc I don't want a whole body of decision makers to be fucking scientists. But you need some integrated there as a baseline so they don't fuck up the enviroment and shit.
That's why we have a representative democracy. We vote for senators that care about the environment.
It clearly hasn't worked for 50 years.
Lobbyism by oil companies is a bitch. The U.S is still making strides, as well as the rest of the world, to protect the environment. In fact for the first time in history 200+ countries signed a pledge to take great strides to cut carbon emissions. http://mobile.nytimes.com/2015/12/15/opinion/a-global-accord-on-climate-change.html?_r=0&referer=https://www.google.com/

to be fair, that's what happens when you ignore gun control and mental healthcare for decades
You reap what you sow, yanks.
Mental health is definitely the core issue.
We have to analyze socio-cultural changes over the last few decades and try and figure this out. Why is this happening all the time now? I believe it to be a number of factors, including but not limited to: poor mental health programs, the increased acceptability and accessibility of extremely violent and sexual content that could be viewed by children (without the guidance of an adult) and so forth.
You're forgetting what's arguably the most important factor: easy access to firearms.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
No.
I like how you say this, yet when Flee posts some well thought out thing with facts regarding gun control, no one every can refute what he has to say, and it ends up just being ignored.
Because he's wrong
Firearms are so easy to aquire. I can go to the gun store across the street and walk out with a rifle and ammo in less than 10 minutes.
No, you can't.
Yes, you can. I literally just bought a rifle the other day and the entire process took less than 10 minutes.
I bought a rifle just last week. It took a lot longer than ten minutes.
Depends on where you live. Which is why gun restrictions need to enforced on a federal level.
