« on: December 15, 2015, 03:10:57 PM »
When did some microtransactions become acceptable.

When the price-point for games remained constant despite 15 years of inflation and greater funding costs to create games, the industry taught publishers that microtransactions that don't lock-off important content or give unfair advantages  are preferable to pay-wall DLC every few months.
You make it sound like devs hardly break even when they sell the base games, which isn't true.

Today, oddly enough, we've had the first snow of the season, despite the fact that we're now in the middle of December, and I'm in Michigan.
Run on[1] sentence[2][3]
[1] "Run-on" needs a hyphen.
[2] This is a fragment.
[3] This requires punctuation.

To your accusation: False. That sentence is not even close to a run-on sentence.
There shouldn't be a comma before and. The sentence is also worded awkwardly.
I thought it was worded nicely. Also, that comma is perfectly acceptable as it's preceding an independent clause.

Spoiler
i think
"And I'm in Michigan" would have better been put before "we're now in the middle of December". It lets the ready know before hand that Michigan is unusual in December instead of tacking it on at the end.

Today, oddly enough, we've had the first snow of the season, despite the fact that I live in Michigan and it's the middle of December.

When you're hunting prey you're supposed to go for the neck or heart. If you cut the stomach or intestines and let the bacteria taint the meat then its all over.
ahh

You see this is the sort of thing I was asking for, I don't go hunting for fairly obvious reasons so I don't know a lot of this sort of stuff >_>

Not that I need to know, it's more just curiosity
Hunting the most dangerous game I see
why does everyone assume I'm out to hunt a two legged goat?

when have i ever given that impression?

Uh the fuck is The Little Mermaid?
Don't give me that 1989 bullshit either, it started the Disney Renaissance.

And the Jungle Book is shit and not even from the 90's fuck you
Must have misread something on Wikipedia. And 1989 is not 1990.
You know nothing of Disney.
You know nothing of time.
> The Jungle Book
Neither do you.

And the time period you call "90's Disney"  is the Disney Renaissance, which includes The Little Mermaid that started it all.
And this poll is specifically for 1990 to 1999
